Two people accused of shooting a woman who shushed them inside a Georgia movie theater were arrested this week after fleeing to Indiana, police said.
The 22-year-old victim, who survived the attack, told cops the pair was part of a disruptive group that was sitting behind her at an AMC theater in Atlanta on Jan. 9. The woman eventually told them to be quiet so she could hear the movie, but an argument ensued and she ended up being shot, police said Thursday.

Beat me to it as soon as I saw the thread title
So you shoot someone in Georgia and you flee to....Indiana? In February? Why not Miami? Sheesh....
Exact same thing happened to me in 1964 when I was 13, except I got sucker punched instead of shot. It was in a theater in downtown Ithaca, NY (no suburban theaters at that time). A couple of Amish girls were really acting out in front of me, very loud “look at me” typical BS (yes, even back then). I could not see or watch the movie which I had saved up for all week and it really made me mad they were so uncivilized. I asked them several times to be quiet and after the fifth or sixth time I got the theater manager to try to control them. They started acting civilized after that and I didn’t give it another thought. UNTIL the movie was over and I got into the aisle to leave. A had on my right shoulder wheeled me around and BAM! Right in the kisser and dropped me like a sack of spuds.
Some things never change except the weapons are no longer fists.
Females.
I had to look that one up.
Movies? People still go to movies?
Did she use a silencer?
What was the feature; either The Croods; A New Age, or
Wonder Woman, 1984?
One pic says a thousand words. And it wasn’t even the victims.
... And her wife...this story has everything.
Im in SoCal, theaters have not been open here since late March 2020. I used to do movie checks at the local movie theater(That was my job I was an independent contractor) checking trailers and such, but yeah the theaters here are closed
” arrested by US Marshals” Interesting. I thought US Marshals were for hardcore criminals.
Movie theaters are open throughout the free zone. (OK, they WERE closed for a few days this week in Texas. Most of them are running about 25% capacity. Lots of re-runs.
I do notice that the local megaplex is offering the following, among others:
Endgame (Mandarin with Chinese and English Subtitles)
Naandhi (Telugu with English subtitles)
A Writer’s Odyssey (Mandarin with Chinese and English Subtitles)
Uppena (Telugu with English subtitles)
Zombie Reddy (Telugu with English subtitles)
Telanganaese keep the Chinese in line, and vice versa.

When you said Free Zone I was thinking Dubai. Would make sense. But Dubai is normally subtitled in French and Arabic, not filthy Indian and Communist Chinese. So somewhere in the Bay Area?
Like, who even goes to a theater? Not smart to do that.
You would have to be stupid to “shush” a ferel.
Ok. So you’re on a date with your lady. You know better than to start something with a feral. She doesn’t. She’s confrontational because in this ‘man’s world’ she can get away with being a bitch. Next thing you know you have no choice but to defend her and you end up getting your butt kicked. I’m sure she appreciate and more importantly understand it.
I guess no.
The Free zone is the republican held area where churches have been able to meet, theaters, restaurants and bars are open, and folks work. This particular neighborhood megaplex is in the Dallas area. Separate grocery stores for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Indians. A few very small Afro-Caribbean markets. The Hispanic grocery has a lot of Asian customers. Hispanics tend to shop at Walmart. There’s even a 100 yen store (Daiso) that’s been open about 5 years.
Never be afraid of evil. Be prepared for it.
