Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s steps to politicize the military to a degree never seen before means a culture war on the conservative half of America.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has made it absolutely clear that the U.S. military’s top priority is not facing external threats, such as the Chinese or Iran’s aggressive strategy in the Middle East or foreign terrorist groups. Instead, Austin sees the main threat as coming from within the U.S. military. In his confirmation hearings, Austin said that he would make it his priority to combat racism and extremism in the United States military. Once confirmed as defense secretary, he ordered a two-month stand-down of the American military in order to examine the problems of extremism among military personnel.
National defense is supposed to be a bipartisan endeavor, yet never before has a defense secretary made such overt moves to politicize the military. Austin’s order to remove all Trump appointees to the 42 Defense Department advisory boards is unprecedented and downright stupid. I have some experience with advisory boards in a military organization and find them very useful. Advisory boards are a second set of eyes from outside the organization to review policies, planning or course curricula and offer suggestions. Often outside advisors spot a problem your organization overlooked or offer good ideas for better policy implementation. And it’s useful to have a diversity of ideas for policy review. But cutting off all input from anyone connected to Trump (representing 74 million voters) and accepting advice only from Biden loyalists will ensure only party line thinking will be allowed in the military.

By turning the focus of the military to political and social issues, Austin and Biden are leaving the backdoor to America unlocked for China.
I did four years active USMC in the 80s.
Black officers and SNCOs were racist as hell and were never questioned on it.

This article and virtually all I have read this past month have led me to conclude the only politically and people correct thing we can do is liberate the conservatives by having the Red States secede from the Union. I am ready to support this idea. I will work night and day to help such a movement work to liberate us from the Democrats and their incredible mindless takeover
COS is going much too slowly to make changes in the Constitution (esp Article V) as its participants are separated too widely to gather quickly. However until our internet options are reduced to zero, we can meet on the internet and work together to separate our states according to what each state’s peoples know to be the best action for their state.
I want nothing to do anymore with the Democrats as they call themselves. AOC is the perfect example of thoughtless deceit for self aggrandizement and Kamela is the perfect example of an exterminator...all of which we may need to physically thwart as this political and greed war continues.

I would tell my grandson, given current climate, do not enlist since you will 1) have a target on your back because of background and demographic 2) be improperly trained which will put you at severe risk 3) be at severe risk due to pervasive incompetent leadership throughout entire chain of command
Pastors have been counseling young Christian men to not join the military. And that its not a proper institution for Christian men these days.
Of course with abortion on demand and gay marriage being supported by the federal government, coupled with the military being used as a global police, I cannot blame pastors for counseling their your Christian men to avoid service.
I was in the AF reserve under Carter. Af was run by “managers’. No flight time, heavy reliance on simulators. AF was not ready for war.
Enter Reagan and now active duty. Now lead by Warriors. Training and equipment vastly improved. When I got out in 90 the AF was hard and ready to kick ass.
I would also advise any kid who is the least bit conservative to avoid the military now. The political Kommisars are coming....

Yes. In the insane mind of the left the greatest threat to the country is the people most willing and able to sacrifice their lives to protect the country. Makes perfect sense.

The next war will be with China and the current US military command structure will set it up intentionally that we lose.
