BREAKING Turbine blades of a Boeing 747-400F’s engine fell on several parked cars

After its engine caught fire and lost pieces of turbine blades shortly after departure, the aircraft entered into a holding pattern at 10,000 feet and diverted to Liege Airport. ...The pieces of turbine blades fell in the vicinity of Meerssen, and multiple parked cars were damaged. No injuries have been reported as of now.

I’d like to think Wall St. traders are smart enough to “punish” the engine maker instead of Boeing, but after these past few years, one can never be sure.

Yeah, I remember the shoulder-to-shoulder slow strolls on the flight line, picking up the tiniest of pebbles.

I think I would have been good at that.

Being raised by a woodsman/hunter dad, I was taught to see everything around me and I instantly notice anything that “doesn’t fit”, wherever I am.

It causes arguments with hubby because I’ll say “Hey! Look at that ____!” and for the life of him, he cannot see what I’m pointing at.

/this is why I drive the back roads due to the abundance of wildlife running out unexpectedly
