PVZEAV NSOIRWSK VTUV DAVDNANIWES WU IRV BVO IE ULFFVUU. —NTVGNSCVA KANRNJ PVTT
You can find this fun quotation puzzle, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications. I challenge us with the best ones out there.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

ULFFVUU is the secret to this cryptogram.
The second word was the secret for me.
It was??? Wow. Your inner mental cryptosecret decoder ring is strong.
Word #3 kicked it off for me.

My daughter went to school with the author's great-granddaughter. Her last name was PVTT.
But we can all benefit from this philosophy. We all face a Texas type situation in one form or another sooner or later.

I thought people from Texas are supposed to be smart with a lot of common sense and independence. Why on earth would they put their faith in the federal government?
2 min; most common letter, 3rd word, 5th word, a 3-letter word ending in the most common letter, off to the races.
But, the federal government is not going away any time soon, so be prepared for any such event that might disrupt your lives and livelihood. That is IRV BVO IE ULFFVUU.
Actually NSOIRWSK is a fairly common word, and with the same second and seventh letter the pattern stands out.
I’ll have to commit that one to memory. I thought I was going to run the table with VTUV but once I figured out that that didn’t jibe with ULFFVUU, I had to recalibrate.
Yep, matter of speed of entry after that.
Thought it looked bad, ended up one of my fastest.
VTUV was a trap that I didn’t fall into mainly because I didn’t notice it until I was almost finished.
