President Biden and his economic advisers keep highlighting the economic crisis Biden inherited. This narrative may only last for another month or two.
It’s true Biden took office in January amid a grueling retrenchment that has torched 10 million jobs since last March. Coronavirus shutdowns have all but wrecked the travel and hospitality industries, with retailers struggling to adapt as well. Small businesses, independent contractors and lower-income service-industry workers are suffering the most

My boy recently talked with his financial advisor. He believed there's a boom coming once the Covid lid is removed. People haven't been going anywhere - or couldn't - and that money is piling up and will be spent then.
Mixed feelings on that. I remember after WWII ended, a lot of people thought we'd go back into the Depression, forgetting about all that pent up demand and War Bond savings. Sure enough, things blew out. The flip side is all those who lost their jobs or businesses closed. Then we have the "Global Warming" inmates running the asylum.
If there is a boom make it in house....shop conservative, hire conservative. After all leftism is the opposite of the business model.
Gas prices up .50 cents here in Fla.
Hope those Biden voters are enjoying the increased drain on their income and their soon bailout of student loans.
Nothing like assuming someone else’s debt that you had nothing to do with
In addition to the Biden boom, there will be a Biden "Bust". The big questions are:
1. When will the Biden Bust start. And
2. How long will it last.
IMHO, the Biden Bust will be more dramatic than last March. 1000 point swings in the DOW and total market decline greater than 30%. Biden's policies will cause the recovery to take years.
So, what are the leading indicators of the Biden Bust? I wish I knew.
It's a great high, but it ruins your life.
The problem is that redistribution economy cannot last indefinitely and continue to generate wealth. At some point, the populace will compete vigorously for those redistribution dollars and want to get "everything they are entitled to." Cue up that Joe Namath Medicare advertisement.
When it becomes apparent that rebound growth has come to a halt, the competition for "entitlement dollars" gets even more fierce. At some point, the rank and file works as little as possible to get as many entitlements as possible, particularly when the rewards between the two narrows even further.
That's the dilemma of Bidenomics in a nutshell.
Hardly fertile ground for a boom.”””
Add in that everything Biden’s done or will do will undermine the economy.
Not “might” but “will”.
Not with fuel prices going up, and $15 min wage. That works its way into everything.
The economy is a game of perception and feeling. If enough people believe In the fundamental indicators it can drive a thriving economy.
Current state? The @#&$#* lefttards stole an election through voter fraud in multiple states. Until this is dealt with in the harshest terms we are dead as a nation.
Yep. It annoyed me when the economy was skyrocketing during trump’s term but they said that was Obama holdover economy and now they will pat joe on the back. He’s been in office a month!!!! Frustrating and transparent.
Biden boom.
Time for some Depends.
Yup, cases are down by 77% since Jan 6th. Simply magical.
“Trump did all the work and Biden will get the credit .”
They can try to take credit put folks really not as stupid as most think.
I wouldn't be so sure of that.
C’mon, Man! Don’t you know Joe Biden is for the little guy?! Watch out or he’ll take you out behind the gymnasium and give you a beating!
You beat me to it. Yes, inflation always looks like a boom...at first...
A lot less was piled up than your son’s financial advisor is thinking. A lot of people have lost employment in the pandemic and have been spending down what savings they have. There are a lot of land lord that are having trouble getting back rent and new tenants due to a combination of eviction moratoriums and riots.
Many of those with good paying jobs have been spending the money they would have spent on vacations (or other travel) on various types of home improvement. I work as an arborist, and some of this money has been coming my way.
My bad
As I said, “mixed feelings.”
