I buy green onions at Aldi. Snip and put in water and they just keep coming. Going to try in soil this year on my windowsill.
That’s a great tip on the green onions. I never seem to have them on hand when I need them, or else they are a mushy, wasted mess in the bottom of the crisper drawer!
There is NO in-between, LOL!
So does a new onion come out of the center?? I just might try this until I can get at my egyptian green onions when the snow melts.
