I remember watching his TV show. It was hilarious.
Featuring his amazing ties.
And he’d show a video of some dumb politician talking, with him projected in the lower right portion of the screen, watching them in amazement. Sometime he’d turn around to the camera with a confused look, and then turn back to the pol and watch with his mouth open.
For some reason it just cracked me up. I was sorry his TV show went off the air.
Not sure what happened with the TV show. It really wasn’t his thing, but I really liked to watch them, even would record them if I wasn’t able to watch them live.
I found Rush’s TV show to be too slow in the progress of content.
The radio show had a relatively slow content pace but was very entertaining. I’m now at a deep loss for weekday afternoon entertainment.
I have one of those ties that he was selling in that era. I think his girl friend at the time was designing them. Very colorful and wide.
For Robert B. Reisssssccchhh, he’d look down from an upper corner.
I watched his TV show as long as it was on. Loved it. But, he didn’t care for doing TV, something about the “format”. One of Rush’s strongest assets was his sense of humor.
