Kamala Harris' stepdaughter Ella Emhoff has appeared in her first designer fashion show, just three weeks after it was announced that she had signed with IMG Models.
The 21-year-old — who is the daughter of Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, and his first wife, Kerstin — had turned the heads of fashion fans at President Joe Biden's inauguration on on January 20, where she wore an embellished Miu Miu coat.
Now the Parsons School of Design fine art student has nabbed her first high-profile modeling gig, storming the runway for Proenza Schouler in three different stylish looks.

Ugh... not sure what to say. She has the Frieda Kahlo eyebrows, which I do not think are attractive. I don’t think the spectacles are attractive either. Very blah, in fact...I think this young lady could be attractive, but she certainly is NOT in these photos. What I see here is an effort to make her look very masculine. So, again, here we have the tweaking of things so that men look more and more feminine (e.g., metrosexuals) and women look less and less feminine.
I guess we can call some of this gulag chic, because that coat reminds me of Stalag 13 or other prison camp type gear.
Very creepy, but I think that the atmosphere being created in these was somewhat foggy, gray, and dismal.

It is a tough market to be white and get a modeling gig.

She looks like she resents that shinny jacket. Why would she? Doubtless very expensive leather. Perhaps it is the cultural appropriation, as the leather jacket is black.

She's half Indian, half Jamaican. She's not descended from American slaves, therefore she's not an African-American. Barack Obama's father is from Kenya so therefore Barack is half White, half Kenyan. Barack is not an African-American because he is not descended from American slaves. Let's say Harris becomes President in the near future. America still have not had an African American for President because Kamala Harris and Barack Obama are both foreigners.
