Today’s show could be played everyday for the remainder of THIS YEAR.

God bless Rush Hudson Limbaugh III

Beautiful thread name.

Indeed, Rush is now promoted to microphone far better than gold.

This is the day the Lord has made.

Though my tears still fall for missing Rush.
I will try hard to remember to be glad and rejoice for his Salvation.

“I haven’t felt this low since Herman Cain passed.”

Did the math...in the last 33 years I have listened for over 25,000 hours.

I lost my best friend...again.

I remember where I was and what I was doing when I first heard his voice on the radio on August 1, 1988.
I later attended his Rush to Excellence Tour in Naples Florida.

I had been a conservative long before Rush came along so he did not convert me. But he did provide a much needed voice for the conservative cause.

I can’t quite articulate what he had that made him so much better than Hannity, et. al., but he was head and shoulders better than any of them. I feel like I was punched in the gut.

Can’t get him out of my mind—— and don’t want to. I’ll never forget the first time he came on radio on WMCA in the NYNJ area. I always had conservative radio talk shows on and when he first spoke, he said he didn’t have guests or do interviews. I looked directly at the radio and said “How long will you last buddy?” Well, it didn’t take long to realize that he was one of a kind and didn’t need interviews or guests.

When we heard that he had lung cancer, we knew it wouldn’t be long, but it is still so hard to accept his passing. He is in a better place and I pray for comfort for his family and loved ones.

I'm stoked by the fact that Rush lasted longer in his biz than Dirty Harry did in his even though Dirty Harry tried to use the power of Senate Majority Leader to silence Rush by sending a letter to Clear Channel's CEO.

Take that, Control Freak Dims!

President Trump was on Rush’s show in 2011 when he was thinking about running. Trump forgot about it. I remember Rush got criticized for saying that Trump had to donate to liberals being a realtor, and his audience criticized him. Rush was right.

My memory of Rush, that I posted elsewhere.
R.I.P Rush Limbaugh.
An American giant, champion of freedom and thought has left us. I first heard Rush at around the time his show was about to go national. On my morning commute I listened to KGO radio, the ABC affiliate talk station in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ron Owen was the host of the morning drive time show, and on vacation for a week in what I remember as 1988. Limbaugh, in Sacramento, was piped in as his replacement, and it was glorious. His words cut through the liberal fog like a beacon, and I could imagine leftist heads exploding throughout No. California. His laser sharp analysis, his wit, and ability to skewer prevailing leftist thought was remarkable. The station’s phone lines were lit up like a fireworks show as San Francisco was treated to a dose of Americanism. I was hooked, and followed him when KSFO picked up his show shortly after. Over the 30 plus years since then, he’s been a constant companion, and source of solitude and reason when the days darkened.
Rush Limbaugh’s contribution to American political philosophy, and especially conservative narrative, is immeasurable. No one can take his place, but his words and deeds have helped define our path. He will be missed, but not forgotten by those of us who were enlightened by his thought.

If only all students had been required to listen 3 hour’s a day to Rush...our country would be much better off today...his Rush Revere books are great. My own family does not know I listened..but they know I’m an America supporter and conservative. (They hate politics).

I actually got myself elected to public office about a year after I started listening to him (large community college ). He helped me figure out what I was politically (for a supposedly non political position.) He helped me stay sane while on the board 4 years...with a bunch of leftists.

Beautiful...I posted elsewhere that Rush seemed to embody the Rudyard Kipling poem, “If”

It’s hitting hard now, I tuned in today’s show and it was surreal hearing that theme song, just as always, but knowing I’ll never hear that voice on the end saying “Greetings....”

He simply cannot be replaced.
