Like everyone, I will remember where I was and what I was doing when my lovely wife peered over the computer monitor and told me “Rush has passed”. There was no need for a last name. I immediately paused thinking, “I feared this day was coming. Now, what do we do?”
My first thought was a prayer for the surviving family, and then for the rest of us to have the power to solider on. Then I see the comments of some who immediately choose to peer over at the enemy to see what they may be saying.
The only thing that discussed my more than what the enemy is saying about Limbaugh’s passing is the fact that there are those who claim to be on our side even CARING about what they are saying; To the point where it even makes a heading under ‘Front Page News”!
What’s wrong with some of you people? Is your first thought to run over to the enemy and get their quotes? Is that what we have devolved into?
H. Rush Limbaugh always stated that his success was not dependent on other people, therefore they couldn’t destroy him. But the lesson he leaves is that there are too many people who will allow the narrative to be dictated by the enemy, i.e., some of you with let the Rules of Engagement to be defined by the enemy – when you don’t have to.
While all this is going on:
* We have our people in Texas under siege by a winter storm while the enemy is blaming THEM for it.
* We have 220+ persons being persecuted by an out-of-control federal government for exercising their First Amendment rights on January 6. With the response I’ve seen from most people on our side, we are sending a clear message to anyone who dares to stick their head out of a foxhole in the future. Has ANYONE reached out trying to support these folks – most of whom are being railroaded??
* We have a person installed into the office of president who hasn’t done ONE THING for the benefit of Americans, and is so out of touch he thinks blacks and latinos are too stupid to get on the internet, while saying the person who actually won the election is racist?
* This government is virtually bankrupt, while we’re all expected to pay up before April 15 to a regime that calls us domestic terrorists for simply disagreeing with the results of an election (the same way they have for the past 4 years), and expecting us to keep paying for it?
Ladies and Gentlemen: we have a lot of work to do, and part of it should be not wasting time looking at other sites and what the enemy is saying. What – is this news? We you expecting compassion? Respect? No, that’s what you would expect from US. But they are not US – that’s the point. So why waste time and energy reading or even reposting? It’s more than not newsworthy – it’s insulting.
I personally have enough to be upset about without giving a DAMN about what a bunch of basement dwellers think. We mourn our loss, we bury our dead, and we move on.
WE DON’T SURRENDER.
I don’t need any further motivation by their hatred. We move forward in making sure we have enough boots on the ground to ensure honest elections from this point forward, support our fellow Americans under siege right now, and make preparations to defend against a hostile, un-American regime in power today. From this point, we do not give them one inch of free real-estate in our heads.
Sorry to go off on a soap-box. But I believe Rush would say “don’t let these people define you”. That’s what we do when we highlight their shallowness. If you want to remember Rush, please do so by dropping the NEGATIVE, defeatism and start looking forward. November 3 was just another battle in this war that will last at least a generation. We are fighting for our children, grandchildren and posterity that hasn’t be born yet. We are fighting for the Constitution, and with that our own survival.
No more hanging our heads down and wallowing in self-pity. Dammit, we are AMERICANS. We are all God’s people. And as His People, we will rise up. We will stand on our own two feet, and crawl before no one!

Can’t agree with this. You can’t obsess over it or let it hurt you, but there is nothing wrong with knowing what the enemy is saying.
FOX Radio News mentioned that Rush called feminists “feminazis.”
Rush once defined a “feminazi”. He said there were only a handful of them in the entire country, and they believed that pregnant women should all have abortions in all cases.
Something like that.

Years ago, when callers urged Rush to run for public office, he said, “Nah, I couldn’t handle the pay cut.”
Or similar words.
I doubt that Gandolf had much interest in what the orcs had to say.

It tells us two things.
It reveals their moral bankruptcy.
It shows us who we can trust.
In the way they react to President Trump and Rush, they are really showing us how they feel about us.

Shrug. I’ll admit that I don’t go look at what the enemy media is doing except when I think they might be crying. Have never gone to DU either.
But I do recall that someone said keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
And it’s a good point that you might want to sniff out what the enemy is doing/planning to do to you or your community.

Does anyone know if there’s a list compiled of patriots being persecuted for their participation at the Capital? Or a place to support their legal fees. I’ve not seen one, but I am not on any social media since I left Twitter the day they locked President Trump’s account.
I tried searching for it, but the search engines seem to pull up only anti-Trump/pro-Biden links. It’s so disgusting, the Left’s stranglehold on our information.

Not sure what I was thinking about in my sleep, but I woke up with the though, I am going to miss that intro to a major news item where he went “dat da a dut dalala” (no clue how to type that). I thought I would love a Rush ring tone to let nearby leftists know he is only dead to them. Honestly it would be fun to listen to old shows. I listened to the 2 Feb 21 show last night. I tuned out all politics after 20 Jan. I would check if Rush was on, if not I just tune out. I just felt The need to hear that last show. I am glad it ended the way it did and not with some sad good bye. “And looking forward to next time’” was perfect.
After an appropriate period I would really like to see the Limbaugh estate do this or something similar, not for the commercial sales which would be through the roof, but to remind us why we loved to listen to Rush. I would join Rush 24-7, to listen to archived shows.
I first heard Rush in 91. A guys wife sent him recordings of Rush while we were in Kuwait. Later I would sit and listen with my mother over coffee. We were only allowed to talk during commercial breaks. She went to church twice a week and listen to Rush five days a week. That was her “me time”. Rush introduced me to Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and Tony Snow. I really liked Snow, spoke to him once, his call screener asked for my email address and continued the conversation off air. I like to think Kit Carson and Tony Snow were there to greet him at the Pearly Gates.
