Colt, the longtime American gun manufacturer whose single-action Peacemaker revolver has been dubbed "the gun that won the West," has been sold to a Czech firearms firm.
The gun group CZG said in a blog post this week that it had "signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the outstanding equity interest in Colt Holding Company."

Well that settles it.
Can't very well dispute a blog post, can we?
That would probably be good. CZ management today is better and more pro-2A.
The Czechs make a good gun. I am sorry to see Colt go down the tubes.
Their US HQ is in KS.
Two of my favorite gun manufacturers now one. WHOO HOO. Can’t wait to get back to Czechia
In my mind the CZ75 and Colt 1911 are two of the most iconic handguns ever made. Too bad mine all sunk to the bottom of a lake.
Does this mean we have to Czech our Colts at the door? /sarc
Colt made sweet looking guns. Had a Detective Special 2nd Model 2” and two Diamondbacks, 4” both, one .22 Royal blue, one .38 speçial, polished nickle. Showpieces, the lot.
Love mine.
I find it hard to believe that today Colt couldn’t start making ARs again and reap a fortune.
Colt has been mismanaged for quite a long while. This can save them.

So the way our psychotic “rulers” think, as long as the Czech Rep pushes the LGBT agenda in their own country the Czechs can keep their investments in Colt.
Yep. And your Czech is in the mail. :)

They kinda deserve to. They haven’t innovated anything new in over 50 years. Longer maybe.
But like Gov. Malloy said: "we don't need companies like that in Connecticut..."
And by "that" he meant gun makers and related machine shops. Good riddance to old-timey industries - we should all just learn to code....
