Experts say people can still spread and even develop COVID-19 after getting a vaccine. They note the immunity from the vaccine doesn’t begin to emerge until at least 12 days after inoculation. They add the vaccine doesn’t prevent coronavirus infection. It helps protect against serious illnesses. Experts advise people who get vaccinated to continue wearing a mask, washing their hands, and maintaining proper physical distancing.

If vaccination does not stop transmission, government must explain the reason for requiring vaccination passports of travelers.
I think that can be explained because it’s easy to screw with testing.
“the subhuman chimp anti-vaxxers “
Nice way to refer to people who simply want to run their own immune system. Many of us are FReepers. Oh well. I guess we’ll see what happens.
The Vaccinated will be the new master race, free to travel the world while the anti-vaxxers cower in their unvaccinated ghettos.
Evolution in action.

Nice to see that you embrace technocracy.
Just like I predicted!

“Cruises for The Vaccinated Only!”
They should exclude fat people
“That’s with now millions of people protected.”
A misleading statement. Perhaps should read “temporarily protected.”
Interesting that only 5 in the Moderna study tested positive after vaccination.
I wonder if they did viral loads on them....if so, bet they were very low (and thus very low to be infections as are asymptomatic COVID19 cases).
• There is no evidence of immune individuals (as historically defined) transmitting other respiratory viruses as viral replication and shedding is a prerequisite for viral spread and in immune individuals virus, which is prevented from growing exponentially so the viral numbers remain low (Curr Opin Virol 2018;28:142–51). Respiratory viruses can be detected in asymptomatic people. Someone with immunity cannot prevent virus entering their respiratory tract, however, when that occurs, their immune system invariably deals with the attack without causing symptoms. Asymptomatic transmission can only be proven by clear evidence that a patient has been infected by a person who was asymptomatic. Finding positive test results in asymptomatic individuals is not evidence of transmission.
Screening temperatures is not perfect as lots of false positives and false negatives. Symptom screening is likely the best screen.
We’ve had it and recovered; we should be immune long enough to evaluate the results upon those vaccinated, and decide yea or nay.
