For the first time since 1963, parts of the River Thames were frozen over as witnesses spotted seagulls perching on the icy surface in Teddington. The River Great Ouse in Cambridgeshire was also frozen over leaving boats stuck.
It comes as temperatures dropped to below 0C in parts of England.
In Ravensworth, North Yorkshire, temperatures plummeted to -15.3C last night as the UK braced for up to four inches of snow and 50mph gales today. ----- The freezing weather comes as 15 weather stations in Britain recorded their lowest temperature ever for February overnight on Wednesday.

Currently parts of northern Minnesota are experiencing actual temperatures of -50. Consider how such temperatures would impact the green new deal utopia being pushed by Biden. Electric cars likely not functional or with a range of perhaps 10s of miles before being despirate for a charge. Windmills likely idled as these polar vortex events frequently do not generate winds or the cold will cause the moving parts to freeze. Solar farms often covered by snow and quite inefficient with low winter sun angles. Of course during the night when temperatures are coldest they contribute nothing. Homes forced to convert to electric heat will strain the grid almost to failure and government edicts will demand keeping your home barely livable at maximum temperatures of 50 degrees. Businesses and schools will close and hospitals may have to get dispensation to use auxiliary generators that still run on fossil fuels to keep in operation. Deaths due to hypothermia and pneumonia will surpass the COVID pandemic with the elderly and small children hit the hardest. Frost bite injuries will be rampent.
I drove hwy 220 today from NC into VA hoping Global Warming wouldn’t smash me with a tree.

I am sitting around by the heater. It is 6 degrees outside. Nearly 30 degrees lower then average for this time of year. How many more years until we are incinerated?
