People living in Germany are struggling with their mental health more during the current shutdown than they had during the first, according to interim research results published by Saarland University on Saturday.

“Life satisfaction has decreased significantly — worries, stress and depressiveness have increased,” research group leader Dorota Reis told the German news agency DPA.
People’s assessments of society have also “changed drastically,” Reis said.
During the first lockdown, the study participants initially reported that society was moving closer together.

How can anyone be surprised that we are “drifting apart”? That is the results of isolation - “social distancing” and masks!
More than vocal, visual is the mean form of communication, with facial features being the primary. It is vital for infants to see peoples faces; particularly parent’s faces.The ability to read faces is use throughout life. This is the mean weakness of autistic folks; they cannot read facial features and have a very difficult time to develop relationships. Realizing how important it is for infants to learn to read faces, you can realize how important it is for adults to see faces to maintain social order. It is through facial features that me make our first contacts with other adults. If we cannot interpret facial features, mistrust develops quickly. I am convinced that the worthless, nonscientific ensistance of masks causing histerical reaction by the public is purposeful; it is easier to control folks that are isolated.
