Herrera Beutler Again Confirms Conversation with McCarthy Regarding January 6 U.S. Capitol Attack
Twitter ^ | February 12, 2021 | Representative Herrera Beutler

In my January 12 statement in support of the article of impeachment, I referenced a conversation House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy relayed to me that he'd had with President Trump while the January 6 attack was ongoing. Here are the details:

When McCarthy finally reached the president on January 6 and asked him to publicly and forcefully call off the riot, the president initially repeated the falsehood that it was antifa that had breached the Capitol. McCarthy refuted that and told the president that these were Trump supporters. That's when, according to McCarthy, the president said: "Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are"

To the patriots who were standing next to the former president as these conversations were happening, or even to the former vice president: if you have something to add her, now would be the time"

That is how she ended her statement...

Senate decided to call witnesses because of the Congresswoman from Washington...

Her statement is on her Twitter page...

The question I have about this situation is: How can McCarthy prove he didn’t say something, if there was supposedly only two people who witnessed the conversation in the first place and there is no sanction for lying? The only way possible for the Trump lawyers to combat it would be to call a Trump staff person who was with him for the day. However, that would mean they will have one of Trump’s staff under oath to answer whatever questions the House managers desire. Is Leahy going to sustain an objection? Is it even possible for the Trump lawyers to object given this is a political trial.

We now see the full scale of the revenge motive behind this Unimpeachment Trial.

Pence has had many conversations with Dems.

They want to call Pence now as a Witness.

That's when, according to McCarthy, the president said: "Well, Kevin, I guess these people
are more upset about the election than you are, and I'm gonna drink a six pack and smoke
this excellent doobie that Nanci Pelosi just gave me."

This is the unabridged statement that Kevin gave to his good friend, Herrera Beutler.
Honest. I wouldn't lie.

This is just a fishing expedition. Internet service was cut around the Capitol building from at least 1pm onward and there would have been no way Trump could have even communicated with his supporters directly if he wanted to do so. He did record two videos exhorting peaceful protest, obedience to the law and no violence.

When Raskin read the statement into ‘evidence’ I think he left out Trump’s reply that it was ANTIFA, not his people.

More perjury from an ‘Honorable’ US Senator. And abuse of public office for public gain.

How would anyone know it was Antifa at that stage of the game to even make such a claim?

And now that it's been proven that Antifa/BLM people were there in the thick of things how can McCarthy go against the intel/law enforcement community which has the evidence of it?

>>> call a Trump staff person who was with him <<<

That’s the point where the defense needs to put Pelosi and McConnell (or their security staff) under oath. Capital security is their primary responsibility.

That’s the point where the defense needs to put Pelosi and McConnell (or their security staff) under oath. Capital security is their primary responsibility.

The entire Capitol Building is under the control of the Legislative Branch of the government. The Executive Branch has nothing to do with it’s security, maintenance, decisions about anything to do with it. It’s called separation of powers. The President even has to ask permission of the Speaker of the House, in fact the entire Congress, for admission.

President Trump offered to provide National Guard troops to defend the Capitol on numerous occasions only to be rebuffed.

As to those who actually penetrated the Capitol Building, all you have to do is look at those who were in the phalanx of the front line and look at what they brought with them, their attire, hair styles, and equipment. They were NOT like the other peaceful demonstrators who attended to protest. The front line phalanx brought body armor, helmets, clubs, and in most cases black attire to which they only peripherally attacked a smattering of easily added Trump paraphernalia. They were mostly young, in the 18 to 30 age cohort, many with unkempt hair, black backpacks, military style or motorcycle helmets, some even had gas masks with them, prepared for war. They were, to put it bluntly, identical to the mostly white Antifa agitators who hijacked the peaceful BLM marches into riots at the peripherals of their crowds. They came with the proper tools to break windows and bash doors.

The people who came to support Trump brought banners, flags, and cameras, there were some true Trump supporters who followed the rioting agitators into the Capitol Building, but the videos show Capitol Police actually waving them in, welcoming them, and even taking selfies with these true patriots, chatting with them, even giving them explanations of what the various paintings, statuary, etc., represent; they just followed the flow of people AFTER the penetration.

Someone in the Capitol Police security hierarchy ordered the officers to allow people in. Someone decided on minimal security at the Capitol during the Trump speech. Someone decided that mere bicycle parking type barricades with minimal police presence would be sufficient during the joint session verifying the Electoral College vote in the most disputed election in history was a good idea. . . but no one is investigating THOSE decisions. Nancy Pelosi is in charge of all of those.

Why did TWO Capitol Police kill them selves in the week following the riot in the Capitol Building? What did they know that caused them to commit suicide? Is it possible that their suicide is along the same suicides that followed Hillary Clinton throughout her career? The suicides that seemed to plague anyone who had any dirt that would have stuck to Hillary and brought her down? Hmmmmm.... What did these officers know or do or is it just a coincidence? I, for one, do not believe in coincidences.

The Main Stream Media is conflating every death that occurred among a crowd of over half-a-million people on the mall as somehow being related to the few hundred people who were in or around the Capitol Building. They are mischaracterizing the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick as a violent crime that occurred in relation to him being hit in the head by someone wielding a fire extinguisher. There is no video of such an event. His brother spoke to him that evening by phone and Sicknick said the only thing that happened to him was “I twice got some pepper spray in my eyes, but otherwise, I am fine.” The next day, Sicknick is reported to have being the officer who got hit in the head by the fire extinguisher, and who then subsequently died from his injuries. Sicknick’s body was cremated so any autopsy cannot be rechecked for any claimed injury.

Two of the August 6th deaths were ALL medical emergencies totally unrelated to the Capitol Building riot, yet the news media has conflated them into somehow being due to the riot. These deaths did not occur anywhere near the Capitol. One, Kevin D. Greeson, was a man who suffered a heart attack and died, earlier in the morning while on the phone with his wife. Another, Benjamin Philips, was a man who organized a van trip of like minded Trump supporters, a man who made and sold Trump attired Kangaroos, who suffered a massive stroke down by the Ellipse.

The third death outside the building itself was most likely an accident. A 34 year old woman, Rosanne Boyland, may or may not have gotten killed by a rush of the crowd in a trampling incident on the west steps outside the building —note that the Capitol Building breech occurred on the EAST side—possibly due to people fleeing flash-bangs and/or teargas fired by Capitol Police into the crowd of demonstrators (that’s the story related by people with her), but she’s dead due to some unknown cause, never-the-less. The New York Times claims Rosanne "appears to have been killed in a crush of fellow rioters during their attempt to fight through a police line", however multiple videos show police and Trump supporters outside the Capitol Building were not fighting, as there were very few police lines for Trump supporters to encounter and her death occurred as the crowd was moving away from the Capitol.

Incidentally, all of the people who died in this insurrection, including Officer Sicknick, were staunch supporters of President Trump. It’s a very odd “insurrection” where not a single person under attack supported the supposed usurpers under attack. . . And not a single supposed usurpers was so much as injured.

Looks like that’s what they threatened to do and the House managers backed down. They are now going to final arguments.
