I’ve noticed that the Capitol Police seem to be his security detail. Those are Capitol Police saluting him at the bottom of the stairs—not Marines. The Capitol Police were also lining the stairs of the Capitol building on “inauguration day” as they were entering the building. CP must be serving as the Swiss Guard.
That video encapsulates most of my observations.
The up-armored “Beast” wouldn’t have dent in the left-rear quarter. It’s a test track vehicle used for defensive driving.
The security detail are neither USSS (jeans and boots?) nor military. Ill-fitting, unbelted \plain\ overcoat for the Marine POTUS detail? Riiiiiight.
3 doors on 90017. Biden enters SECOND door. POTUS has forward office between 1st and second. Previously, Trump enters through the 1st.
Press enters the back using the “red-carpet” stairs. No one was worried about protocol.
It looks like Biden called his security people and said, “I’m leaving early, in 30 minutes.”

That’s interesting. I remember that early on, BB(Beijing Biden) had objected to any of DJT’s SS agents - in case they would have issues.
I watched a video of a purported trip of Biden going from the Whitehouse to the Pentagon on Wednesday. You don’t see the cavalcade leave the Whitehouse or arrive at the Pentagon. But as they drive by the guy on the street who is filming the cavalcade its like half the capitol police force are involved and a million vans and SUV’s. The beast goes by but it doesn’t really look like the real beast and you can’t see who’s inside.
I called Mr. GG2 in to look at the video. I asked him if he ever saw an entourage that big just to drive a few blocks. He said it looks like Biden is having to pay for his own protection. That’s what I thought too. Or he’s afraid he’s going to be arrested any minute.
