With the chicken sandwich "we raised the bar for what a best-in-class, high-quality sandwich should taste like," said Sami Siddiqui, president of the Americas at Popeyes. "We wanted to do the same with fish." To draw in customers who loved the chicken sandwich, Popeyes is using the same bun and pickles combination in the fish version. It's also offering "sandwich insurance" on the launch day. For an additional 15 cents, people who buy the fish sandwich and don't like it can swap it out for a chicken sandwich.

I second that motion. With that said, Popeyes has the best chicken sandwich IMHO.
The only thing Popeye’s is good for around me is to wind up on a World Star Hip Hop video.

The “Sandwich Insurance” is a neat idea. Good advertising as long as a lot of people don’t abuse the concept.
They’re Fish Sandwich should do just fine.
Just as with a Tempura crust, you can deep fry fish or chicken, and the end taste will have close to the same flavor. Why? Because it’s the surrounding deep fried crust that people taste first. All the salt and strong spices.
Actually there’s a Popeyes close to me and it’s jam-packed with white people.

I’m miffed with Popeyes, two times I went there for some greasy, spicy chicken—they sold me wood.
I’m not sure what they are doing but it was terrible, I decided to stick with Church’s for my guilty pleasures.
There is no comparison to Popeyes chicken sandwich. The chicken is much better. Pickles are wonderful and great mayonnaise. Bun is fine also.
I stopped at Wendy’s once and the chicken was rubbery.
I’m not Kanye West.
