One of the lawyers heading former President Donald Trump’s defense at his second impeachment trial did what Trump himself has not: conceded Joe Biden won the presidential election. —
In opening remarks Tuesday, lawyer Bruce Castor said: “The American people just spoke, and they just changed administrations.” He added that Americans are “smart enough to pick a new administration if they don’t like the old one, and they just did.”
The comments by Castor, a former county prosecutor in Pennsylvania, were a surprising contrast to Trump’s defiance. The former president repeatedly disputed the results of the election, falsely claiming he won in a “landslide.” And he kept up the baseless claims through the end of his presidency, including during a speech at a rally that preceded the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, which set in motion his trial on a charge of incitement of insurrection.
“We will stop the steal,” he said at the rally. “Today I will lay out just some of the evidence proving that we won this election, and we won it by a landslide. This was not a close election.”
There was no widespread fraud in the election, as has been confirmed by election officials across the country and former Attorney General William Barr. Dozens of legal challenges to the election put forth by Trump and his allies were dismissed.

Maybe to some extent, but he had no idea it would be this bad. WHO in the world could have expected persecution 24/7 for almost five years? Several of the worst of them had been his friends for decades, and had taken thousands of dollars from him.

And, I keep reminding Freepers that Trump did NOTHING consequential to prevent voter fraud in GA, WI, MI, or PA, before it happened, and he did NOTHING consequential to prepare a legal response to voter fraud, after it happened.
Trump has always possessed the most important candidate skill - he understood how to win.
But, once in office, Trump was a politically helpless buffoon from his first day until his last.
He did not anticipate or parry even one Democrat or MSM attack for four consecutive years.
Trump did not throw even one consequential political counter punch for four consecutive years.

Rudy himself argued and lost the highest profile case, the big Pennsylvania lawsuit. It was a total embarrassing fiasco, with Trump's lawyers trying to withdraw, dropping most of the claims mid-process, and Giuliani making a failed argument himself.

Try listening to WarRoom and you’ll learn a lot. I read everything. I listen to many podcasts that feature the most informed experts and I think I’m pretty good in my knowledge base.

Wrong, read the decision. Rudy presented evidence and the Judge didn't find it compelling. I gave you the link to the case, read it instead of listening to grifters who are profiting by lying to people like you.

What do you think that means? It wasn't thrown out for lack of standing like many cases. The judge took the case, heard the presentation from Giuliani, and dismissed it because it had no merit. That's called losing a case!! What did you think was going to happen? A jury trial? The judge either blocks the election results (WIN) or dismisses (LOSE). It was a loss.

The process of destroying good people in Trump’s Admin was a BIG WARNING SHOT ACROSS THE BOW, “don’t even think of joining Trump.”
The planned insurrection on Jan 6th was the FINAL SHOT “don’t even think of speaking freely or you will be destroyed, like Flynn.” This is the country Trump tried to turn around.
But the very size of the government monolith is the problem. It has been ending freedom by a 1000 cuts. DC is a totalitarian fiefdom unto itself now.
Why don’t you list the cases he won, and list the states that he was able to flip to Trump? It will be a much shorter list for us to review.
