We had Spanish Flu of 1918 reach herd immunity, without vaccines in 18 months.
That’s Labor Day(ish) of this year and that’s WITHOUT any vaccines.
I don’t know about you all - but my state’s infection rate has dropped by almost 70% in the last 3 weeks. (ooohhh... now that New Years Eve if over people are social distancing again!) No numbnuts - the vaccines have been distributed to the most vulnerable - medical staff and the elderly. The current estimates are that about 10% of the population has knowingly had covid and 10% of the population is vaccinated. Given the spread of it - the rough estimates are that an additional 20% of people have probably had asymptomatic covid - putting us to around 40% of the population has had it - IE 10% away from Herd Immunity AS ITS SCIENTIFICALLY DEFINED (that was, before covid was politicized)

herd immunity happened shortly after new years day. the biden gestapo is just afraid that the crisis is going to go to waste.
The goal is to keep the universal mail-in ballot scheme going until at least the 2022 midterms. Democrats have a great opportunity to add senators by hook or by crook. The GOP has to defend 23 seats.
The fake pandemic and the lockdowns are still in play until then. That’s what is happening here. It has nothing to do with so-called virus variants or the vaccine.

So why do people, especially politicians and people trying to sound smart, keep blathering on about “herd immunity” to SARS CoV 2, when there is no precedent for such a thing with any of the other, similar coronaviruses?
