From the presidential election of 2016 to the presidential election of 2020, from the huge, mostly peaceful protest on Jan. 6 to facing our second presidential impeachment of the same president, it is all too clear that we are becoming two cultures. We are becoming two cultures that occupy one land. The last five years have shown us all that there are two distinct cultures in America. From extremely partisan elections to election fraud to impeachments to possible Deep State criminality, it is hard to see how these two cultures can become one again. It is hard to see how this ends well.
Once in America, about 35% of the population would consider themselves right of center, about 35% of the population would consider themselves left of center, and there would be 30% who would be in the center. As long as the center was big enough and broad enough, the center would hold the ends together. Now the center is not 30%, but probably closer to 10%. A political center of 10% will have a hard time holding everything together. The political center appears not to be broad and deep enough.
There is risk in oversimplifications and overgeneralities with little nuance. However, for the sake of the argument and with trepidation of being too generic and too simply stated, let's call the two opposing cultures the Patriots and the Progressives.
The Patriots are basically made up of conservatives, Evangelicals, and nationalists. The Progressives are mostly made up of the Deep State, socialists, and globalists.
Many Patriots and many Progressives have little in common, are entrenched in their own ideology, and their own cultures are so different that it is evident there must be compromise or there could be confrontation.

I have always viewed the center as being uninvolved, disinterested, and not willing to think about issues. They sort of go along with the crowd and try to live their lives. Bumper sticker slogans work for these people. They're the type of people who will wear the lapel ribbon or wrist band because someone else does and it allows them to be part of the crowd. They do not prioritize. They lack the core values and principles to make decisions. They are single-dimension in their thinking and do not see the consequences of policy or anticipate unintended consequences.
The center is malleable and should be seen as important to victory to the right. It is much greater than 10%. The 30% that is used to be is probably more correct. It is just that two-thirds of the 30% have been superficially and temporarily aligned with the right and left. I write temporarily because they can easily be convinced of something different because they are superficial and malleable.

There’s a lot of truth in that. But even in the American Revolutionary War, it’s been said that one-third of the populace was Tory/Loyalist, one-third Patriot, and one-third neutral. Of course, at the end of the conflict, people really had to choose sides and many of the loyalists fled to Canada under threat of violence and death.
Gimme a break... our nation might not function as well as one nation that gets along... but that's NOT the case. We're two nations now at war with each other. That's NOT working.
Both sides can have it all - Progressive United States (PUS) can flood their hellhole with every 3rd world person who can reach their shore. And offer them free heath care on day ONE. AND PUS citizens can pay for that care... not us.
We can have a country with borders.
Progressives can have all the while liberal 'elites' and all their pet grievance groups.
We'll have Americans of all colors and races... one in six black men voted for Trump - they and their families will go with us.
Forty percent of Hispanics voted for Trump - they'll go with us.
And the dead? The dead that voted for Biden? They'll stay with corrupt democrats to keep their elections dirty and their people frightened...
It's time to start the process - the negotiations.
It's time for the divorce...

My country is the United States of America. It would be against the oath I took to give it (or even a part of it) up to leftists.
There is no center.
The center needs to wake up and pick the side that’s going to leave them alone when the dust settles. One side demands you hand over half your paycheck to the government and that your daughter share a bathroom and a locker room with boys. The other side believes in families and keeping your own money.
Really shouldn’t be a difficult choice.
80% voted for Trump. The left 20% who are driving this tantrum may wake up someday soon to discover that rage and hate is not as powerful as resolve.
We're dividing the country so white liberal 'elites' don't put us in 're-education camps' that most of us would die in. Is that what you want? Death for people who don't think like white liberal 'elites' ... elites hiding out in their mansions - and using their money to stir the pot because they oh-so-bored and dead on the inside?
Really, is that what YOU want?
It’s a false dichotomy to offer a choice of either dividing the country or going to “re-education camps” There are other options.
