I can’t imagine how much glue she must have used. I been in the adhesive industry for over 30 years.
Most adhesives, especially household adhesives break the bond to skin after a couple days. Natural skin oils break the bond. (It has to do with high surface energy)
I wouldn’t be surprised if she had to cut all the hair off but I’m real surprised it’s still affecting her skin.
