That’s going to leave a mark.
A Louisiana woman went viral last week for using Gorilla Glue in place of actual hairspray — before finally checking into the hospital on Saturday to get the hardened adhesive removed, according to posts on her Instagram.
The woman, identified in news reports as Tessica Brown, posted on Feb. 4 that her hair had been stuck in place for a month after she ran out of her usual hair product and opted to use the extra-strong superglue instead.
“Look: My hair, it don’t move. You hear what I’m telling you? It don’t move,” she said in the original video.

Now I know hoe effective GG really is. Thanks for the endorsement s/
Seems to me that that is likely what happened.
Yes it is.
No solvent will dissolve either spray foam or gorilla glue once it cures. After it cures the only way to remove it is to either scrape it off or burn it off (don’t breathe the fumes if you do).
She didn’t confuse the two. She said she ran out of the snot product and thought gorilla glue would work the same.
“And need I ask who pays the approx $2,000 emergency room charges?”
There goes her Covid 19 checks.
I remember that weird stuff.
Cracked about 2 days after you used it.
:D
I didn’t even know the article mentioned the Gorilla Snot hair product. Didn’t read it. No one here brought it up either. I just assumed that that was what happened. And, assuming what you say is correct, what I assumed was darn close to what actually did happen.
That’s what they say.
For some reason it’s attractive to them.
I was taking no chances.
The boy Dobe has enough bizarre Why would you EAT THAT?!? ingestion habits.

We pay for her idiocy. 10 to 1 odds this mental giant is on welfare
Pretty much any MDI polyurethane prepolymer (which is what Gorilla Glue is) will cure when exposed to water. This can be a problem when Part A of a two-part polyurethane molding/casting product starts curing on it’s own in the container due to moisture in the air.
That’s why they will never get off life support.
I take back what I said about no one else mentioning the Gorilla Snot hair product. Freeper DeFault User did in post 10.
“There is a very good hair gel for men called Gorilla Snot. It also has the product name on the bottle in Spanish, Moco de Gorila.”
It’s only the second week in February, but I think we have our 2021 Moron of the Year recipient already crowned!
...and Senator Mitch McConnell used Turtle Wax...
As Bill Engval would say, here is your sign.
I’ll bet she tried to wash it out.
Polyurethane glue hardens with water.
“mistakenly used...”
Really?
Affected more than her hair - her brain too apparently. She used it because she ran out of hair spray OR:
“”after posting about mistakenly using Gorilla Glue on her hair instead of actual hairspray.””
Interesting WHO pays the hospital bill for that? Or shouldn’t I ask?
She didn’t confuse the two. She said she ran out of the snot product and thought gorilla glue would work the same.
Just checked the NY Post article. Unless I missed it, I didn't see any mention of the "Gorilla Snot" hair product.
“My school was a small town, country public school, but we learned basic English. What has happened?”
The late senator Daniel Patrick Moynahan observed an effort to dumb down the American people. It seems to have succeeded.
