It sounds like she used the cyanoacrylate type product by GG. I use both types often; even acetone barely affects the cured CA. Surgery time.

I have gotten CA-bonded things to loosen up after soaking for hours in acetone but probably not something you’d want to do with your whole head. At least I wouldn’t.
