OK, our 5 1/2 lb Maltipoo, Bug, was already inside, when my neighbor and I noticed a two tone SUV pull up, and give a light tap on the horn. Two guys got out, one in body armor with the letters FBI on the front.
I have made no effort to conceal the fact that I travelled to DC for the rally on January 6 to support the President and protest the stolen election, so I was not totally shocked to see them. Gotta say, though, that it made me a bit nervous at first. Also, anytime I told anyone about the rally, I made it a point to say that I had not been part of the incursion onto Capitol Grounds.
Butch and I stepped outside and they asked me if I was who I was, and I affirmed that, indeed, I am who I am. The FBI agent and his companion identified themselves as an FBI agent and a US Marshall. They told me that the FBI had received an anonymous tip that I had participated in The Great Erection™ on January 6th. (They didn't call it that, Chuck Schumer did.) I stated that I had not, in fact, participated in the Great Erection™, but that I did attend the rally, a fact I'm sure they were perfectly well aware of, and they said "OK, that's all we need to know."
That's when Bug attacked.
Mrs moonhawk opened the door to see why the FBI was paying us a visit--she actually knew, she'd been telling me for the last month the Feds were probably going to come looking for me--and Bug slipped out the door, ran up to the FBI agent, and pranced about on her hind legs, begging him to pick her up. Which he did, quite happily. Turns out they both love dogs. So we released the real Kraken, our sixty lb Australian Shepherd pup, Sunshine, who jumped all over them--he's totally out of control around other people-- and tried to lick them to death.
So we had a very pleasant conversation, actually. They didn't really want to be running around harassing people, and said they've had a bunch of anonymous tips, most of which were false--Including one person who hadn't left New Mexico in the last two years. They were sympathetic to our point of view and said that a great many people in Law Enforcement were as well.
I said I'd like to know who called about me, and they said "So would we". And we left it at that.
Now, to whoever turned me in: I don't know who you are, and iIdon't care. Really, I feel sorry for you for for the sad and empty life you must live.
Do you believe that turning in your neighbors to Big Brother is the right thing to do, or were you just following orders? Do you believe that exercising one's first amendment rights is an act of terrorism? Do you think that Biden won the election fair and square? I urge you to step out of your comfort zone and look for sources of information outside of those approved by the Ministry ot Truth. (Joe Biden: "We choose truth over facts" Brilliant!) Don't be a clueless minion of the overlords.
You may believe you were doing your Patriotic duty, calling the FBI at the behest of Big Brother, saving Amerika from me and the Bad Orange Man. Oh, well. I will pray for you, and continue to pray that you wake up some day. America needs all of us to know what's really going on. How did we get to the place where we're acting like East Germany, turning in our neighbors, for exercising our Constitutional rights. (Or for not wearing masks, for crying out loud!)
I'm sure you believe Biden won the election, fair and square, because that's what you're expected to believe. i'd like to challenge you to step out of your safe space and watch this video by Mike Lindell. I know, he's that pillow guy, what does he know? Well, it turns out he knows quite a lot, which you may be interested in if you are a person with good intentions, and an honest and open mind.

There is a great deal of other information out there, and I urge you to search it out as well. Things are not always as they seem. Don't believe everything, or much of anything, you hear from the mainstream media
And please remember, it is a Federal crime to make a false claim to the FBI, so be careful. If you heard it from me, personally, that I was at the rally, then you also heard me say I had no part in the breach of the Capitol, and you deliberately gave false witness. That is not only a crime, it is a violation of God's Commandments. I mean it when I say I have no hard feelings, and will pray for you, whoever or wherever you are. Peace.
I know this isn’t the type of comment that gets a great deal of praise on this forum, but most non-DC based special agents are good people, especially the ones who make a point of having their careers avoid WFO or HQ stations and the slime that comes with being in DC (there are a lot of these people).
There are exceptions of course on both sides, good SAs inside the beltway and bad ones in the far flung field offices, and it’s impossible to know in the wild which one you’ll get, so exercise caution as you feel appropriate.
Agents who purposely avoid a headquarters tour do so at the cost of career advancement because most of the higher promotions won’t happen unless you tick certain boxes that only get ticked inside the beltway. On the same line, agents who spend most of their careers inside the beltway often do so because they love the swamp, embrace the feeling of superiority to others, and want to get those career highlights that can only come when you’re connected to the politically powerful.
I appreciate that. Some of the psots on here scare me a lot more than those two agents did....
I trust in God, not my own understanding, the government, or anybody else. Whatever happens is his will, and I’m good with that. These are extraordinary times.
Of course i will stay as informed as possible, and use caution when i feel it necessary. But I’m not going to cower for them.
Another guy and his pregnant wife were at the rally. About half-way through President Trump's speech, his wife started feeling sick, and so they left. They picked up their car from a parking garage, and since they were heading back the next day, they wanted to fill up the gas tank, and drove around a bit until they found one, then went back to their hotel. Two female FBI agents showed up at his house, and questioned him about being in D.C. He said that one of the agents kept saying: "It's not a crime to be in D.C." To prove where he was at the time the agitators entered the Capitol Building, he pulled out the receipt from the gas station which proved he was no where near Capitol Hill at that time.
This crap is nothing but harassment.
I trust the FBI about as much as I trust the GOP.
[Wait, what?
I can only say that the 2 FBI agents that I had recent contact with were very civil and appreciative of any information that I had during my time in D.C. 4-5-6. It’s like they were fact-finding.
To Whom It May Concern: Thanks.
I really don’t know much of anything else...so that is all that I will say at this time. I’m still examining goings-on, taking lots of notes and trying to put things into a rational perspective in my head.]
I wonder if they’d love Dobermanns as much?
[Glad it turned out well]
You definitely turn around feds or locals without a warrant. They show up to ask questions, smile and say prefer not to answer questions without a lawyer recording all Q/A under legal council.
Easy peesy nice and easy
But I jest. You must admit guilt and beg boot licking station of the fedgov. Pussy.
Are you calling me a pussy?
Whenever law enforcement shows up, immediately ask them if they have either a search warrant or an arrest warrant. If the answer is “no”, tell them they need to leave immediately or you will call 911 and file a criminal complaint for trespassing. It works; I’ve done it more than once.
If you are the one asking them to show up so you can file a complaint against someone else, the above does not apply.
That's really sad that's what this country has come to. Glad your experience turn out well. It could easily not turned out so good.
i would have asked, “all it takes for the fbi to investigate is someone saying i participated in an insurrection and you investigate? well, biden stole the election, will you investigate that please?
Hah! If I had followed the advice of half the posters on this thread, it might not have turned out so well...
Thank you, though...
You’re quite Welcome, glad I could be of help. 🤪🇺🇸
They will not tell You about the informant details for safety reasons because you might seek revenge.
.
I miss Arbooz.
He got banned years ago for some reason.
:(
So the owner of Peaches was a FReeper ?
Assuming what you told us is true, and that the FBI agents acted properly and professionally, write their visit off as a waste of tax-payer dollars.
Re the “snitch” in your neighborhood. You can put up a sign telling your neighbors that there is a “Rat” in the community who will turn you in for whatever is the “crime du jour” in their minds or on TV.
Let the paranoia begin!!
