Another guy and his pregnant wife were at the rally. About half-way through President Trump's speech, his wife started feeling sick, and so they left. They picked up their car from a parking garage, and since they were heading back the next day, they wanted to fill up the gas tank, and drove around a bit until they found one, then went back to their hotel. Two female FBI agents showed up at his house, and questioned him about being in D.C. He said that one of the agents kept saying: "It's not a crime to be in D.C." To prove where he was at the time the agitators entered the Capitol Building, he pulled out the receipt from the gas station which proved he was no where near Capitol Hill at that time.
This crap is nothing but harassment.
“he pulled out the receipt from the gas station”
Maybe I should start taking those receipts! OTOH, I’m sure they could spin it against them if they wanted to. (see the video “Never talk to the police”). Or - even worse, they offer to take the receipt as evidence. And then lose it.
>>>One guy who had planned to go, ended up not going, but was visited by the FBI. He runs a company, and ended up working the day he was supposed to be in D.C. He showed them video from his security cameras, that proved he had been at work on January 6th.<<<
To paraphrase Agent Maxwell Smart, the old Guilty till proven Innocent trick.
