Detroit distillery’s paczki-infused vodka sells out in 22 minutes

Detroit City Distillery sold all its limited-edition Paczki Day Vodka in just 22 minutes on Monday.
The craft polish potato vodka is distilled with dozens of raspberry paczki from the historic New Palace Bakery of Hamtramck. Bottles, which are a nod to Polish culture and features the Polish eagle, were sold for $30 each.
Ultra-limited-edition flavors, Powidl and Wild Rose, and bottled cocktails, Polish Daisy and Polish Bloody, also sold out quickly, staff said.
“Holy paczki! We are sold out of Pączki Day Vodka,” a statement reads. “We are speechless. Thank you for the love, Michigan. Now the treasure hunt is on. Pączki Day Vodka is being sold in many of Michigan’s finest liquor stores.”

Detroit City Distillery procured nearly 1,300 glazed raspberry paczki from New Palace to distill in 100 percent potato vodka from Poland this year.

Yep. The Muslims took it over. There is now a “call to prayer” over loud speakers.
There’s a statue of Pope John Paul for when he visited, I wonder how much longer before that has to come down.
