what think ye, fellow amd beeches and wannabees? :)
hey, its at 85.49 and only 6.25% shorted
might be a good buy for a few shares
I think the problem is more shares have been “bought” than are in existence.
> AMD allegedly being limited is FAKE NEWS.
false (according to robinhood.com)

Wow, I checked out CNBC: (https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/29/robinhood-is-still-severely-limiting-trading-gamestop-holders-can-only-buy-one-additional-share.html)
They’ve limited both AMD and AMC. Strange, AMD is not at all at risk. It’s a very healthy chip maker and hasn’t been the target of any short selling.
The comment still stands. Anybody would be crazy to do business through Robinhood.

Sure, but that doesn’t make them less criminal.

.. that has been admitted to in news publications...
i would say strange is an understatement under the circumstances. its as if the hedge funds suddenly woke up , got hungry, and demanded to be fed from all active stocks (healthy or otherwise)... as if on queue...
:-/
interesting... and your thotz?
(just correcting your link typo)

Agree. But who’s more criminal, the brokerage firm or those using the power of the fed government to twist their arm? The real sense of lack of fair play should be directed at the swamp creatures who hold all the cards it seems.
Reddit aren’t buying Silver. They’re buying SLV - the ETF for Silver. Freepers should avoid SLV and just buy the metal.
If you’re unsure of yourself take the easy path and buy an index like SPY a little at a time every month or two and sleep well. The wallstreetbets stuff is crazy and risky even if it works out in the end.
Yep, cause gamestop made good sense. Nerd stocks rule.
Just don’t buy anything at Cabela’s in Reno. The CHP cruises the parking lot scanning plates and they’ll stop you at the inspection in Truckee.
Carson City has a lot of great gun shops. Pay cash so the commies can’t track your purchases.
whoa, you just saved me some time in the clink, glad i asked first, yikes lol
thanks
and yes, i have had mainly good experiences in cc stores...
90 percent of day traders lose money.
GME still makes sense. It’s a bear trap propped up by millions of “retards”.
Just an idea. The over all stock market appears to be in a frothing phase. In other words, “It is at the top.” It may bounce up and down several times before slowing sliding down. Therefore, it is only intelligent to buy on a down day and then sell for less than 5% profit on an up day. Rinse and repeat. do not try to buy and hold, because Amd or any other blue chip may already be at its peak. Whatever the current price is,,,that may be the future sell price. Buy on the dip and hope to sell for a slight profit at today’s price.
Got in at $6, stayed in. It hit $99 last week, should have set a new high after blowing past earnings estimates. Unfortunately the hedgies had to sell positions to cover the GME losses. I love the comeuppance, but AMD is my retirement fund, after getting blacklisted for being a conservative. A robust Gamestop should help AMD, on top of its good fundamentals.
i had been mostly in spy but amd and tsla were just too tempting for me to resist entirely... all things in moderation... :)
have also recently diversified to a nasdaq etf as nasdaq has been netting 29% recently...
