People in Southern California are geniuses I tell you...
So he was head down in the snow for an extended period of time until others dug him out. And all they know is that it had something to do with the snow? I hope that doctor Fauci can come to the rescue.
It might have something to with a strange phenomena known as suffocation that you can simulate at home by putting a plastic bag over your head. Who knows why he was unable to get his head out of the snow before he lost consciousness.

Tragic. This is a gorgeous area, but easy to understand how that kind of wilderness can become treacherous in a split second. It’s just East of Yosemite. We stayed one family vacation after a stay at Yosemite. The area is magnificent.
