A Merrimack woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly hit someone in the face with a 24-ounce can of Twisted Tea earlier this month, police said.
Faith Haggerty, 30, surrendered to Merrimack police on a warrant charging her with simple assault and domestic violence. She was released on personal recognizance, and is scheduled to appear in Merrimack 9th Circuit Court on Feb. 9.
According to police, around 9 p.m. on Jan. 18 the victim approached an officer parked at a local business and said Haggerty — who the victim was in a relationship with — hit them in the face with a 24-ounce tall can of Twisted Tea the night before.

Good point. The “someone” is worded oddly. And “them” is misused in traditional grammar.

What is it with Twisted Tea?
There was a viral video a few months ago about a loud-mouthed drunk guy calling another man the n-word. The other man slammed the loudmouth’s head with a can of Twisted Tea. Everyone clapped.
Should be pretty obvious that no one should be pounded with Twisted Tea (unless it is in self defense (and being called a name is not self defense).
I saw that slam down video. I was not impressed.
That beating was a huge over reaction to a word that offended guy probably hears several times a day in so called music. I’m not impressed when it seems like a black man is using any weak excuse as a reason to beat any white male into submission. Just ignore the store drunk and get out unless he goes after you in a threatening way.

you can’t assault someone for calling you a name. Then again those who applaud it are the same who think it’s okay to harass and attack conservatives. Our existence and opinions are a form of violence to them, not free speech. Their physical attacks are freedom of speech not violence.
Used to be you could until this country became pansified.
With that being said, I saw that video too and the beat down by the black guy on the racist drunk was completely justified.........
