Disagree. He got things done precisely because he acted the way he did. The bush leaguers track record is to get dinged by the media and immediately fold. Remember when the bushes were literally hitler? Have you not watched while our gentlemanly senators fold on just about any issue as soon as they get pushback from the media?
Trump fights. Because he fights he wins.
And you may say "Well, he lost the election." To which I would counter, no, he didn't. A squish like Romney would readily concede a fraudulent election, but thanks to Trump, the American People know full well that it was a scam election. Even dems don't think it was legitimate.
Illuminating the rampant corruption at all levels of our government is probably the greatest gift of Trump's pugilistic Presidency. The media can gaslight all it wants, but the American People can't unsee what we've witnessed.
On Trump, you say. “He did not need to act they way he did to get things done.”
I say he had to act the way he did. And, my, did he get things done. Do you deny it?
Now, that was a waste of my time
Comrade Kristol is one happy failure.
by this point in time, the real mystery is why most STILL fail to see The UniParty system right under their nose.
The Red-Blue game is the distraction
Conservatives who don’t like Trump don’t dislike him because of his conservatism. They dislike him because of his recklessness and unwillingness to figure out how to get his way in DC. We should face the fact that Trump just lost it. I supported his policies but hated his attitude. He did not need to act they way he did to get things done.
If you really supported Trump’s policies you would notice the GOP have never supported MAGA policies and did everything they could to obstruct him. Including colluding with Democrats on the four year long coup and then election steal. Just admit you are just fine with open borders and unfair trade. That is the only explanation for such willful blindness.
It’s not a quick answer....each is unique in their hatred but there are common themes.....
All of them are strong military industrialist supporters (kickbacks for them, friends, and family)
All of them are strong Wall Street guys (more kickbacks and patronage)
All had a strong elitist attitude and continual drive for power, influence, and control.....
The above was in danger under Trump as their powerbase was undermined. New true Trump conservatives were bubbling up across the country further eroding their hold on the
Republican base reshaping the party from the bottom up. Coupled with other elected representatives that yearned for good leadership continued their decline.
All of them look bad because Trump accomplished in 4 years what they have talked about in the past 50 years. They hate him with a passion for destroying what they have built....
You are a fool! Armchair knucklehead who in hindsight conjures blame on the only man to take on the swamp!
Sometimes you have to get dirty fighting pigs. Something most Country Club Repubs will never do and why they let the steal happen.
Those so called conservatives are just a bunch of out of touch snobs. Trump was a average people’s champion. And will be again!
Simple answer is they are not conservatives.
Bush League Republicans have NEVER been conservative.
Who is “we,” Bill “Punchable Face” Kristol? I thought he had come out recently as a Democrat.
Fake conservative, always has been a Bush League Republican.
Trump’s “chaos” is very strategic. He uses it time and time again to keep his opponents off balance. I remember one of his business competitors said how hard it was to gain an advantage in deals because they could never figure out where he was coming from. Predictability in negotiations or war is a recipe for losing.
The "attitude" they did not like was one of "let's get this done". He was supposed to "play the game" and be part of the kabuki theater of pretending to be conservative while doing the will of the Uniparty. Instead of posing like an actor playing the part of POTUS, he really believed he was the POTUS and tried to actually do what he promised.
Republican presidents of the modern era never accomplish anything they say they'll do. The 'rats always push straight ahead. In his first week, Biden has wrecked the country. Republicans today are like the ones Reagan had to work with in the Cold War. Those Republicans assumed the USSR would win the Cold War, and that the best the USA could do was forestall their eventual triumph. Reagan told an aid he had a new approach: "we win, they lose". This was the approach Trump took against 'rats and RINOs.
<< The mystery of conservatives hating Trump >>
NeverTrumpers advocate for open borders, the outsourcing of American labor, and endless wars. Conservatives? Not by a long shot.
I used to regularly watch conservative MONA CHAREN when she would go on CSpan years ago. Democrats would call & trash her. Apparently she is one of them now. She despises Trump & writes vicious things about him.
They’re psychopaths (narcissists in PC-speak). They take care of number one (themselves) and don’t care about others. They try to keep others from completing independent accomplishments, even others in their own families. They favor hierarchies based on arbitrary assignments (examples, monarchies, communist governments), appearances and words rather than deeds. They manipulate others to get what they want. They’re takers. They hate real makers.
I recall during the primary challenge campaigns, how many conservatives were anti-trump. All over the internet and social media my fellow conservatives were posting lying anti-trump articles from liberal media sources they normally knew better than to use. CNN, MSNBC, NPR, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, washington times, new york times, etc.
One so called fellow conservative even posted an anti-trump article from the official propaganda organ of the north korean government. I am not joking.
One time another anti-trump conservative criticized the Trump campaign for using the slogan “make america great again” and drew a parallel from that to slogans used by nazis in nazi germany. I replied to his comment, pointing out that Ronald Reagan used that slogan for his presidential campaign in 1980. I didnt get a response.
“Easy test: someone who would rather have Trump and 50/50 Senate = MAGA
Someone who would rather have Trump out and Loeffler + Perdue = SWAMP”
I agree with you 100%,
People who advocated voting for RINOs (Loeffler & Purdue) in order to keep the senate were just reinforcing a RINO senate. It’s like hiring bad cops in order to have a larger police force. It leads to ruin.
