Me too.
That’s how I know!.....................
We have an Air Fryer that works pretty good!......................
This list sucks. No Yoo-hoo drink.
One 12oz Yoo-hoo has 380mg potassium, 16oz has more than a banana. 440mg I think. I try to have one every few days.
And it’s one of the 4 major food groups too...coffee, chocolate, pizza and hamburger...
Yoo-hoo isn’t available everywhere..................
Ok ya got me there...
and I haven’t checked Chocolate Soldier either.
All I see is a question mark inside a box. What was it?
I sprinkle lawn fertilizer on my oatmeal. 18-24-6 gives me sufficient potassium, and a lot of phosphate.
I don’t have one but think it sounds like a good investment.
You can get too much potassium, also! Check with your doctor/blood test to see if you need more or less. IMHO
I hope I'm dead by the time I'm 83. The odds are good since I'm 73, and the rest of my family is all gone, the oldest dying at the age of 74.
My Gastroenterologist told me years ago not to eat anything after 8 p.m., because your stomach produces most of its acid while you sleep. I don't go to bed until 4 or 5 a.m. in the morning, but I still try to make sure I don't eat anything of consequence later in the evening. I don't drink alcohol of any kind because I'm diabetic, and just take pills to control it. An apple or a banana before I go to bed has never caused me a problem. I've been taking two 30mg Lansoprazole before breakfast and supper for a very long time. I only eat two meals at the most. If I have a good breakfast, I have something light for supper, and vice versa. The one bad episode I had this past summer was after I had added extra pepperoni, salami, peppers, onions, and bacon bits to a Walmart flat bread pepperoni pizza. I'd added that stuff on their flat bread pizzas before and never had a problem. It was at least 7-8 hours after I'd eaten it that I woke up with the acid reflux. Didn't have any gas, discomfort, or heartburn at all until the acid reflux episode woke me up at about 4 a.m. in the morning.
But none of the others can make such a tasty pudding.
An ‘Air Fryer’ is essentially a Toaster Oven with a circulating fan......................
Tonight for dinner, I have a pound of grass fed ground beef with a can of crushed tomato, a tube of tomato paste, brussels sprouts, mushrooms and kidney beans. It's sort of like a cross between chili and stew.
You are like me, I have a potassium deficiency continuously, no matter if I eat potassium rich foods.
I take 99mg of potassium twice a day as a supplement.
You must also have sufficient MAGNESIUM for potassium to work as well, because they both work hand-in-hand together, so I take a magnesium supplement as well.................
If you consume orange juice, banana, or potato every day, I think you would have a good level.
One banana has about 422 mg, so your supplement has a small amount.
They also contain sugar and starchy carbohydrates....................
Potassium helps the body use sugar.
The body stores potassium and sugar together. Without sugar, the body can’t store potassium.
I believe all foods that make it easy to keep a good potassium level are among the foods highest in sugar.
