Babylon 5 and Lost actress Mira Furlan has died at the age of 65, her family and management have confirmed. Furlan played Minbari Ambassador Delenn in the 1990s sci-fi TV drama, Babylon 5, and Danielle Rousseau in the noughties mystery drama, Lost. Her family told the BBC the Croatian actress died on Wednesday due to complications with West Nile Virus. "It is with great sadness that I confirm the passing of Mira Furlan" the statement read. "She was a woman full of kindness, strength and compassion." It continued: "She died peacefully at her home in Los Angeles, surrounded by her family. "We will all continue to celebrate her life and legacy, and know she'll always be here with us." West Nile virus is spread by mosquitoes in many countries, but not in the UK, according to the NHS website.

RIP Ambassador.
And only Vir got what he told Morden he wanted.
Morden:
What do you want?
Vir Cotto:
I’d like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I would look up at your lifeless eyes and wave like this. [gives a mockingly cheerful finger waggle] Can you and your associates arrange this for me, Mr. Morden?
RIP.
Claudia Christian and Patricia Tallman are still alive.
Well, yes, Babylon is cursed by God.
Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
See also Rev 18:2, 18:10, and 18:21. Babylon is mentioned 286 times in the Authorized Version of the Bible.
Revelation 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

The site of the original city of Babylon is in Iraq, and was destroyed in biblical times. The Bible says it will not be rebuilt. Saddam Hussein tried to rebuild it. Remember what happened to him.
Just went back and started watching season 5. I realize why I liked that show so much.
Aside from the fact that it was humans and others, caught in an epic galactic war between gods,
There was not a single person miscast in that entire show. You had the right reaction at any given point that Strazinsky wanted. And every actor delivered. She was as indispensible as anyone else involved in that masterpiece.
RIP and thanks a lot.
Michael O’Hare suffered from severe schizophrenia and was becoming difficult to work with.
Joe covered for him and got him help and promised he would never let anyone know why he left the show until after he died.
Strazinsky blamed it on the network demanding a known quantity like Bruce Boxleitner to rescue the show. Bruce took it as a compliment and JS rewrote the show to accomodate.
Nobody knew and they were all happy to see O’Hare for his role as Valen as he managed to get his meds sorted at the time.
That’s what I know. That’s the scoop I got, from drinking with Jerry Doyle one night, he pretty much confirmed said info.
Regarding Micheal O’Hara that’s pretty much what I read on a JMS blog.
Though the information on why Boxleitner was selected is new to me. I found his character - Sheridan to be the weakest and least interesting of the main characters. A very two dinensional typical TV hero character, it being a rush job more then explains it.
