Forbes has McGregor at net worth of 48 million. Other sources over 100 million, time to get out.

That net worth went up last night, and his whisky (Proper 12) is very good and increasing it as well.
If he’s smart he’ll be out.
Thanks for posting
I almost made a freeper thread, too lazy.
To me it looked like McG was unprepared, too busy being a “star” and promoting his whiskey to focus on training. Poirier looked hungry.
Awesome- never liked Conner- but he was a pretty good fighter- but glad it’s changed hands now
He hasn’t been champ for over 2 years, this wasn’t a title bout.
Connor was stripped for inactivity in mid 2018. Khabib Nurmagomedov won the vacant belt and then beat Connor in his first defense.
Khabib retried (or said he was) but hasn’t vacated the title. I have no idea why this fight wasn’t for a vacant belt, maybe Dana White wants convince Khabib him to un-retire.
ah ok- thanks for the info on that- i hadn’t followed him at all-
Khabib Nurmagomedov beat him too? Will have to look that vid up- wonder if Dustin will take on khabib if he does continue fighting?

Here’s the video,
Khabib beat DP too, tapped him out in 2019.
huh- i’ll check out htis Khabib fella- sounds like he’s got something fighting wise-
looked like mostly wrestling (Which i don’t care for really- unless the person is super great at it) in that clip with conner- didn’t seem like his standup was too effective against conner- I just skimmed it quick- will watch it better tomorrow
He has the AIDS
Is that true?
Yup, thats what I saw. Chandler looked good, but I never bought into Hooker being a top 5 guy. If it were not for Adesanya, nobody would know who Hooker was.
So did Covington, Masvidal, Gaethje, Tyson and Usman. Most fighters like Trump. Makes sense.
Yes, he’s a grappler, not the most exciting style for me either but no one has been able to withstand his takedowns.
Yeah I’ve seen a couple of his bouts now, definitely a good grappler. I just like stand up tough man competition like fights myself, like I. The days of the pride fightin g league, aside from the few wrestlers there, mostly they were brawlers, with the toughest brawler being the victor. But man was it brutal 😆.
I see more and more fighters these days moving to ground game, while I can appreciate a great grappler every so often, I just don’t like the trend of fighting to be moving in that direction. Jab jab jab takedown. Jab leg kick, jab, takedown. Not for me, at .east not when the majority of bouts are like that.
There is another league, a bit lower than ufc, where the folks go when they aren’t big money draws anymore, can’t remember the league, and most of those bouts now are wrestling. I do record those, but end up ff through most of them.
Khabib is quite good though. I’ve followed a few great danverous jujitsu and wrestlers like Damien Mia, and others, but my preference is for stand-up brawls.
I guess if one is going to be champ, they have to learn to defend against wrestlers too, but I’d just like to see 2 titles maybe, one for wrestlers, ground experts, which I would follow too just to see who truly shines, and one for brawlers. But that would not real.y be feasible I guess.
