Anyway, the lesson here is this: from what I understand, the whole cast reunited in Phoenix in 2013 except for Bruce Boxleitner (who said he was filming at the time and couldn't get away), and this bothered Jerry Doyle. So, when the cast re-reunited in Galveston in 2014, Doyle decided to skip it in a fit of pique.
Since then, Doyle died suddenly, Stephen Furst died, and now Mira Furlan died.
It's almost like celebrity ego got in the way of two possibly truly exceptional experiences that can no longer happen. It's like The Beatles never reuniting on Saturday Night Live, when maybe it could have been a moment of history.
Carpe Diem.

I never heard of her, though I now see that she was on Lost.
With all the COVID panic, people are still dying of West Nile virus? Scary.
RIP
NONE of the sitcoms from the 70s, or even the 80s, would air today.
Buy an antenna. Thats all they show! GET TV shows Sandfrd and Son reruns everynight.
I think it was the pilot episode/movie. He was the original Captain for the Vice unit. Got shot and killed on Sonny’s boat (bullet meant for Crockett).

Ripple...
Not much at all.
That’s when I started to have kids.
Dump a bunch of TV in the 90’s.
Spent my time here after I spent evening reading to my kids 20 years ago.
Master of my own domain!
I was on the floor laughing when Kramer came in, threw his money down, and said he was out.
But seriously, I wouldn’t have wanted to watch that with my young daughter, either.
I think of Aunt Esther every time I see Maxine waters and wonder what Fred would say about her being hit with an ugly stick.
Bueno dias senior Sanford.
And beans and diease to you too Julio.
Upon seeing his photo, I remembered him. I watched Sandford & Son and Barney Miller. R.I.P.
Yeah - but Julio got him into Sangria for one episode!
Yes, he got the spikes through the upper torso. Gruesome.
Chato? RIP.
Terrific show, used to watch it on Tvland.
“Chano” Amanguale on “Barney Miller.” He also gave a powerful performance in an episode of “All In The Family” playing a militant Jewish/Zionist activist (whom Archie agreed with). Was the “first” Lieutenant (boss) on “Miami Vice” before he decided to leave the show, as he was not a fan of the weather there. Would’ve been a different show in the long run with him instead of Edward James Olmos, as Sierra played his character more like a conventional police boss as opposed to Olmos’s minimalist style (the only case where Olmos did a better job). It’s too bad he didn’t stay on “Barney Miller” for the whole run.
I think I saw the All in the Family Ep, he died in a car bomb in the end? That seemed lame.
I remember they sent a new detective (Steve Landesberg) in Barney Miller and Captain Miller said “It’s about time, (Jack Soo) has been gone for almost a year” and then the new guy says no he was sent to replace Chano (who’d been gone for years)....that was funny.
I’ve heard being a straight man is harder and gets less credit.
Is Abe Vigoda giving the Eulogy?
Ron Glass (Harris) passed away? And [can’t remember his first name] Landesberg (Dietrich (sp?))?
That was a great show; I never missed the reruns on WGN. I introduced my daughters to it last year, but they didn’t like it very much—I had forgotten how gritty (for a comedy) the first season was.
Yeah, car bomb. It was a shocking ending.
