Biden's Wednesday night massace at Voice of America

On Joe Biden's first day in office, he got right to work. The press focused on Biden's 17 executive orders, from shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline, to ending border wall construction just as thousands of migrants in a pandemic are surging in. Biden did it for an aim that was clear enough -- to quickly undo the legacy and achievements of President Trump, and enact a sort of Obama restoration of the status quo.

He also did something else that didn't get much press, for far muddier reasons: Mass firings at the Voice of America, a minor government agency that normally merits little attention.

What the hell was that about?

According to the Washington Post's Paul Farhi:

President Biden moved swiftly to oust top managers loyal to former president Donald Trump who had been blamed for recent turmoil at the federal government’s array of international news organizations, including the biggest and most influential one, the Voice of America.

Only hours after he was inaugurated, Biden forced out Michael Pack, the controversial head of the agency that oversees VOA and four other networks that broadcast news to millions of people abroad. This was followed, domino-like, on Thursday by the removal of VOA’s director and deputy director after only a few weeks on the job. In doing so, Biden appears to be putting the brakes on what critics said was an effort by the Trump administration to turn the news agencies into mouthpieces for Trump’s views and policies.

Why so fast?

Pack and his allies had only been in office for about five months of a three-year appointment before Biden demanded his resignation.

China does not like the truth being broadcast because it contradicts their “today’s truth”.

How can Traitor Joe get these guys fired within hours while it took Trump years to get them in?

Pompeii was speaking there only a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure Biden’s team wanted to silence them.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

What’s happening now to conservatives is basically what happened to Pompeii.

The Party rewrites history. We lose memory as well as voice. Welcome to the new Dark Age.

In Occupied America.

Was this agency previously known as Radio Free Europe?

So much detail....so many agencies and institutions targeted.

All of this has been planned months maybe years in advance.....meticulously planned in the Swamp
as Biden posed as the "Can't Win Candidate" doing his Doddering Old Fool act, his Flubber Act, his Basement Hideout act,
his Loving Family Act, and so on.

All of it intended to throw us off the scent.

Now Joe's made an amazing recovery ....so cogent, so in command, nary a flub to be heard.

For all we know, Harris might be considering suicide.

This is one thing I respect about the administration. They’re doing exactly what Trump should have done in day one. Fire the whole lot of em and start fresh. Trumps fatal flaw was not firing them and those that were, very few I might add, got replaced with the same garbage. Trump as it turns out was a fighter for himself, he could have gotten in the face of senate leaders to get people who supported his agenda in but he just rode that ride instead of derailing it.

Something to never forget going forward if you don’t know it already: be very careful about Commies, they are most dangerous when they are quiet. Same for terrorists.

Some time ago I posted a note about being careful we were not being played by a rope a dope strategy. We got roped by the dope. See, why take on Trump directly? No, take some time, build up a no lose election by employing “voting strategy” developed by the ultimate POS Elias. BTW, he was the head of Harris campaign too. Why that POS was not in jail after the Russian hoax stuff is beyond belief. Too bad he was not mistaken for Seth Rich.

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty was a US government-funded agency, but apparently separate from VOA.

This is from the Wikipedia article...

"Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty is a private, nonprofit, international multimedia broadcasting corporation, funded by a grant from the U.S. Congress through the Agency for Global Media, an independent federal agency that oversees all U.S. civilian international media. It serves as a free pro-democratic press in countries where the "free flow of information is either banned by government authorities or not fully developed.""

Trump didn't have an army of embedded bureaucrats within the government apparatus chomping at the bit to do things his way.

Yep. They screamed about him being a monster and a dictator, when really, he was a teddy bear. It's a pity. I'm sure he looks back now and thinks, "I should have decimated the place."

True and valid information is the death of the enemy and must itself be killed.

WE ... are now the media
