I’ve spent several days in hospital after my surgeries and never heard of these things. Last time was 10 days. Doesn’t sound like I missed anything, lol.

I was in there 10 long days after my mouth surgery. They took my feeding tube out a few hours before my discharge and gave me breakfast. I couldn’t eat anything but the coffee was the best, drank several cups. Probably was horrible coffee but after 10 days it tasted good to me!

Lysie, I know it’s a pain in the neck and you probably have breakfast nearly made, but if you could throw an apple pie in there, I’d be so happy. I have a hankerin’ this morning for apple pie and a nice cup of coffee....and I know that nobody up here is going to make one. Bless your heart.

RE: Hospital beds
Be thankful you didn’t get a mattress with a “butt dip” in the mattress that I had after surgery. Very uncomfortable.
