There are stories that VP Pence was instrumental in sending the National Guard to DC.
Personally, I imagine it might have gone something like this:
President Trump: "Hmmm. DC is requesting the National Guard? Well let's send them."
"... no, 1,000 isn't enough. 3,000? No, send 10... make that 15,000!"
"Troops they want, troops they'll get!"
Trump offered the Troops on the 3rd before the Capitol incident. Capitol police and the idiot mayor refused. I guess they just took the original offer after the animals left the barn.
If it was Trump, he went bigly.

My question is, why can the President send in 15,000 troops to DC today and not when they were burning it down during the summer?
I maybe wrong but the DC Mayor requested 5K first, the rest by The Prez a bit later.
Why not just activate a Carrier or two and drop in a barrage?

Since the “uprising” was a mixed affair with blm,antifa infiltrators spiking protestor anger, the possibility exists that the same could happen at the staged “transfer” of power. There could have been other groups violently involved..like certain advocates of a mostly peaceful religion, or other proponents of an historically debunked political system besides antifa/blm.
There are a LOT of unanswered (and un-asked) questions that make one pause.
The ultimate troll would be for Trump to send in tanks and missiles to make the inauguration look Stalinesque

Looking at the ‘fence’ around the Capital, the razor wire has a certain penitentiary look to it. Haha, there are always armed guards INSIDE the fencing dontchaknow.
There’s only 2500 in each...Iraq and Afghanistan. I believe Obama won with close to 36,000 troops in Afghanistan
