I think people here know that I’m a doctor.
I just completed the second shot of the two dose Pfizer vaccine. I felt virtually nothing after the first shot and nothing after the second shot given about 15 hours ago.
The injection consists of only 0.3 ml. Contrast that with the flu vaccine that is 0.5 ml.
The first shot helps your body recognize the virus, and the second revs up your immune system.
As you know, 99% of those infected with the virus recover fully. On the other hand there is a small percentage that recover but not fully. We call these people “long haulers.”
You might want to read up about them as many are formally very healthy even athletic.
Don’t be afraid of this shot. I recommend that you take it when it becomes available.
Philippine Islands would be my guess.
P.I., is the politically incorrect terminology for Philippine Islands.
That said, calling it the Philippine Islands actually evolved from translation of ‘Islas Filipinas, the name given to the group of islands by Spanish explorer Legazpi in 1543, in honor of Felipe II, the (then current) king of Spain.
It’s considered to be politically incorrect because (P.I.) harks back to the U.S. colonization of the Philippines.
I grew up around active military and it was always referred to as the PI for short.

But Fauci said literally in an interview that you can still spread the virus for months after getting the vaccine and it would just lessen your own symptoms and he then said we still needed to wear masks and social distance... so I don’t understand your comment?

If Fauci has no credibility and he is the “Face” of this whole Covid lockdown and vaccine thing then why the crap would I listen to any of them at this point?

That would literally require chemistry to function in reverse from how it actually functions. Another way to look at it is this only works if you can make time go backwards.
The only problem with your statement is that in THIS universe, time goes FORWARD.

You have hit upon the overall belief on this vaccine. Even if this vaccine is 100% effective (a big if), there is still plenty of other things that a person can get to spread around. The idea that with the vaccine that they are safe and safe to others will eventually bite someone in the rear end later.

Well, I know one now.
Is he the only one in the country to ever have this happen?

It could well be that he died because of the vaccine. We know the vaccine will kill some people. Every vaccine kills some people. Every medical treatment kills some people. every medication kills some people. (Well, there are probably SOME medications that have never killed anybody).
I am pretty sure that if the vaccine was doing things out of the ordinary, we would know, either because of reporting, or because we’d see an uptick in twitter bans for people talking bad about the vaccine.

It’s made up of the mRNA wrapped in what Dr. Malvestutto says you can think of as a “fat bubble” — lipid nanoparticles that protect the mRNA so it can do its job. The FDA lists these additional ingredients as: lipids ((4-hydroxybutyl)azanediyl)bis(hexane-6,1-diyl)bis(2- hexyldecanoate), 2-[(polyethylene glycol)-2000]-N,N-ditetradecylacetamide, 1,2-distearoyl-snglycero-3-phosphocholine, and cholesterol), potassium chloride, monobasic potassium phosphate, sodium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, and sucrose.

P.S. The possible side effects of polyethylene glycol AKA PEG alone sound like something nobody wants to experience. A severe anaphylactic reaction is also possible.

I’m not sure what your point is.
I’ve witness a gal with an anaphylactic response after first shot. She was treated and is fine.
I’m more worried about the “long Hauler” effects of the virus. I’m 70. I’m exposed. I took the vaccine. I recommend taking it, as the risks of it are far less than the risks of the virus.
Okay, you're making a pretty wild claim that the chemical reactions can go backwards. So where's your evidence that this is physically possible in the universe we live in?

This is the second day for me, since the second dose.
I’m noticing two things thus far.
1. that it is affecting my short term memory
