Bad weather? What the cause?
It was back when Boeing had a bunch of layoffs.
Massive rain the last few days, windstorm last night. I drove through about 6 inches of water yesterday at the bottom of the hill I’m on. Reports of transformers blowing up everywhere.

Yup. I lost power at about 1am, but it was back on sometime after 6am. When I got up at 7:15, power was restored.
I know what time it was because smartphone.
Does anyone remember the wind storm in Seattle on Inauguration Day, 1992 as billy jeff was sworn in? It was epic. I was a graduate student at UW then and when I walked through the Montlake student parking lot, there were dozens and dozens of car alarms going off. You could literally see the cars shake as the wind gusts would come through. It sounded like a war zone.
I wonder if God is warming up for another display when Quid Pro Joe is sworn in.
I remember years ago a semi actually tipped over during a fierce windstorm with the cab hanging off the bridge. Thankfully the driver kept a cool head and did get rescued. It made the national news.

When we had roving and selective blackouts this past late summer/early fall, PGE apparently used its smart meters.
On our cul de sac, our home and a couple of neighbors didn’t lose power as we have Cpap machines and other medical devices needing power.
Neighbors with Teslas’s/all electric cars lost their power first and were the last to get it back.
This was/is in N. California not Oregone.

I hadn’t thought about it, but you are correct.
Our elite will have fake prescriptions for e-medical devices.
PG&E had a form that we filled out and gave to our doctor. He filled in the specifics signed it and had our HMO send it to PG&E.

Woke up at midnight. Thought we were being attacked by Raccoons. Nope, branches blowing across roof.
Dogs were a bit freaked, got up and watched the windstorm like I normally do. My windows face a couple massive trees and I can gauge how crazy it is by watching them. I’ve seen worse, but some gusts were pretty good.
This morning I drove to the office and a huge tree was down as I exited the neighborhood. Power was out in my neighborhood for about 3 hours, and my hood has its own utility and they are almost NEVER out. Much better than Puget Sound Energy which has had 2 week long outages in my 20 yrs stint where I live (Near JBLM)
