“About an hour ago the most popular rifle forum ar15.com went offline. Someone said Google was blocking their DNS.””
Did you verify before posting?
My dad talked about those BBS’s - bulletin boards where people would have their own chat rooms on their home computers. I wonder if it’ll go back to that.
Times have sure shifted. High tech lynching at its finest. Remember the old days when they used to just shoot up ball fields and mrc outlets?
Funny that you mentioned this.
I have been trying to get onto rtntv (YouTube conservative alternative) for the past hour and it just keeps loading.
I guess we’ll see..
They would come for Free Republic as well but they realize we are all a bunch of old cranks that will die soon anyhow.
All of the conservative websites that don’t have their own servers are probably going to be shut down.
Of course this is an opportunity for anyone who can set up a server farm on a backbone to host these sites.
Biden did promise a dark winter
My wife is a Rush 24/7 subscriber and after his show today wanted to read the transcripts, the site was down for her.
I tried it and it was down for me...
About 15 minutes later I tried rushlimbauh.com again and this time the page came up....
But I just tried before make this post and it’s down again.....
Not sure what’s going on, but rushlimbaugh.com could be in the sights of the liberal mob and about to be eliminated...
The Second City Cop Blog went invitation only overnight, no one knows why. The last thing I read was linked from FR about Apple censorship.
Practically I think this marks a true separation of conservative platforms into self sufficient hosting, if only because they cannot survive otherwise.
Obviously, those same hosting services will have to be made stable as well.
Look for a financial takedown of companies hosting conservative websites.
Does it really boil down to hatred? I think that answer is too easy. Is there a cost/benefit analysis that predicts a large payout down the line? Large enough to justify losing half your customers?
Used to be that performers, as a rule, tried to stay apolitical. There was never any sense in alienating half your audience. What’s changed?

All of a sudden all of my posts at Breitbart are being held up for review. When this started happening, I made a very short post that contained nothing whatsoever that would be controversial, just to test the system, and it happened again.

The democrats cannot allow free speech. Then people could find out what they really did with this election.
Conservative talk radio, too.
1570 AM in Flint, Michigan (Cumulus owned) switched from conservative talk to oldies music Jan. 1st. Mark Levin was on it and others.
I’m sure there are many others.
They’ll leave Rush alone (bad optics to silence him) until he passes, then fill his slot with a faux moderate. Or flip the station to not talk.
They truly fear our words.
