I don't know what Hungary is doing but I know that Poland is passing laws to fine social media for violating free speech. The problem is how will they enforce it? Jack Dorsey isn't afraid of President Trump, he certainly isn't afraid of some judge in Poland and I imagine he'd simply ignore any ruling against him.
I have already turned off automatic updates on my computer to prevent slowdowns due to updates. This is my internet surfing computer and I never do any financial transactions on this computer. So updates are not necessary on a regular basis. I can always update once in a year.

I have ton of programs created by myself in DOS based software for managing my investments. Those may not work in unix. They don’t even work in 32 bit architecture Windows operating system. I have to use an emulator to make them work. But at least they work in that mode.
Yes, with just a few keystrokes. Same for .Net and cable or dish and Directtv. So can the power company if you have a smart meter.
