My money is on pence supporting removing Trump using the 25th. I expect it by Monday. The noise out there is just too loud to let it go. It’s been this way since Trump was elected. Prosecute him to the fullest on the slightest infraction, while the deep state is literally breaking every law on the books in plan sight. The gop has been okay with this, and has even been a party to it.
Trump has 2 weeks left. If they do what you suggest, they will embitter a lot of folks on the Right even more than they are doing now.
But, hey, part of me almost wants them to be that stupid.
The GOP will NEVER win a major election nor retain a majority again. I would be shocked if they rebound from their self destruction but at least they are all millionaires and live the rich and powerful life.

But Trump is still a threat to the establishment. They will want to hurt and discredit him as much as possible. I think they believe removing him will do it. But to remove a sitting POTUS for having a rally in DC to show his support during a contested election, would be a bold move for sure. If the last 4 years have shown us anything, it’s that they do not fear us. They only fear Trump.
Which part of that did Mike Pence fail to do? Did he fail to open all the certificates? Or did he fail to count the votes therein? Because he has zero authority under the United States Constitution to do anything else besides open the certificates and count the votes therein.
The states choose their electors by whatever means they see fit. They can do it by lottery or raffle tickets or arm wrestling contest or they can pick names out of hat. They can have a baking contest to choose their electors. Technically, the state could randomly kidnap people off the street and force them to fight on American Gladiators to choose their electors. There's nothing stopping them. The vice president has no authority to do a thing about it. He opens certificates sent by the states and he counts votes. That's it.
Seriously. I’ve seen VP Pence accused of all manner of things (including being a homosexual and a pedophile) because he didn’t invent new authority for himself that the US Constitution doesn’t provide. He’s not King Pence. He’s Vice President Pence. And Vice President Pence is bound by Article II Sec 1 of the United States Constitution, no matter how much it pains him to read those votes.

The numbers were certified by the States.
His role at that point was simply to report them.
Basically he’s the dude that opens the envelope and announces the winner.
He has NO ROLE in the providence or verification of those numbers.
For all those defending Pence, at what point in the great reset may they reconsider?
Why.. when mighty Qanon tells us so, of course.
They think the rally was big yesterday? Imagine the numbers of people who will descend upon DC if they remove Trump. The next time will be millions and I’d imagine most will be armed.
