Boston University and Holy Cross will both wear masks for Tuesday's men's college basketball game, a Boston University spokesperson told ESPN.

The game is believed to be the first in men's college basketball this season in which both teams will be wearing masks on the court.

Stadium reported Monday morning that Boston University has mandated that all of its opponents wear masks during games on BU's campus. The Terriers and Holy Cross also play each other on Monday, but that game is on Holy Cross' campus, meaning only BU will be wearing masks during the game.

The indecency of this Virus has no boundaries.

Perhaps two foul shots will be awarded for the other team if a mask is removed.

Another example of how the left is incapable of management. Everything they touch turns into a pile of Obama. Just stand back and laugh, just as you do watching a fool driving alone while wearing a mask.

Pidiful. Just pidiful display. We are undergoing a pussification of our entire society and no one is standing up to fight against the morons.

Yup. Another example of “toxic masculinity” taking a kick. Eventually all contact in sports will be limited to pro leagues. Masks and no contact. That’ll sell tickets.

Just cancel the game, fools. Nobody will notice anyway.

This is just stupid.

Why do we let these idiots retain power and lord over us? Where are the adults to step up and say, “No. We’re not going to do this.”

I expect most players will wind up wearing their masks as chin covers. That’s the only way they’ll be able to breathe under exertion.

That crossed my mind. Basketball is probably one of the most aerobically intense sports there is. The body may not take kindly to having its air passageways obstructed.

Be neat if one or more players pass out during the game.

Maybe the football helmet offers protection against the virus. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

They need to social distance at least 6 feet, too.

BU went off the deep end regarding testing last September. If I recall, you had to clear 3 successive COVID tests to be on campus.

If you left for Thanksgiving or Christmas, you’d need to clear 3 tests again.

This doesn’t surprise me at all.
