How Much Impact does Half a Billion Dollars Have In Poor African Villages?

I was at a local zoo today.

They had a display up showing how much water the average American uses compared to the average African.

They had a gallon jug hanging next to a 150-gallon barrel. They were suspended from a rope to give you an idea of the difference in mass between the two.

It got me thinking.

How many African villages could have been set up with running water and electricity had Zuckerman put half a billion dollars into doing that rather than nullifying the vote of legitimate US voters?

Does anyone have any ideas on this topic?

Multiple charity groups have gone to Africa over the years to drill water wells and add pumps, only to have them destroyed and the wells poisoned/contaminated.

I wrote a term paper for Seminary School on the Missionary movement from the time of Acts up until today, and what I learned of Africa is amazing. This is some excerpts I rewrote from an article I posted on the Missionary movements of the World. The Clarion Call Of The Great Commission

The great Dr Livingstone worked with various African tribes as a Missionary. In his 30 years he was instrumental and in teaching them better agriculture techniques, and brought in experts who helped them take advantage of their resources so they would not have to depend upon selling their fellow countrymen. Slavery was all but wiped out in Africa, because as more and more became Christian they realized they did not have to sell each other for wealth. The discovery of precious resources, and how to put them into proper use the whole continent move towards different types of commercial trade.

By 1914 almost every town or colony had a Christian mission that nursed the sick, fed the poor, taught the gospel, and schooled the children. While Europe was at war destroying themselves, many parts of Africa was advancing into a more modern society. By 1950's the continent of Africa was the fastest growing Christian continent in the World. Many parts of Africa had a higher percentage of Christians than most Western Countries. Africa was a thriving continent and they were advancing in all areas of society. By most standards African countries were moving on up in life styles, and living in relative peace with their neighboring countries.

The 1930's did see war in North Africa, because of Italy. Then when WWII broke out, most of the fighting was in North Africa. For most of the Continent the war was distant. Again, like WWI, WWII saw the rest of the World destroying itself, while most of Africa was living in relative peace and moving up in the societal World.

After the War, Africa entered the 1950's moving up in advancement until the Cold War began to get ugly. What happened over the next 50 years was a tragedy. Soviet Union began supporting rebels and setting up totalitarian type governments that would leave many parts of Africa devastated. In the process many once thriving communities found themselves sitting ducks for the rebels supported by the Russians. Like what we are seeing going on in Nigeria, so too started in many countries. The Soviet Union backed rebels and pushed propaganda that was anti Western European. Nation after nation found them selves in bitter civil war funded by the Soviet Union.

Soon rebels who would replace Democratically elected leaders. Christian missionaries would be replaced by Islamic Imams or War Lords who moved in to fill the void. Eventually the poor stopped being fed, the children stopped being educated, the sick were left to die, and the many parts of Africa slipped back into tribal conflicts.

It wasn't long before the slave trade, which men like Livingston and Wilberforce spent their lives trying to end, would again became a profitable business, because most of the private Western funded industries were confiscated and started to crumble. They needed money, so they went back to doing what they did before, tribes went to war with each other and again started selling each other into slavery to the Muslims.

What the Soviet Union started, the Muslim took over and continued destroying whole villages as they murder African Christians by the tens of thousands up to this day. Whole villages are wiped out by the Muslim Hordes who murder everyone, but the young boys and girls. The boys they raise to be Muslim fighters and the girls become sex toys and baby machines.

Today, a continent that boasted a higher percent of Christian followers than most Western societies in the 1950's, has once again became the sore of the World.

The continent that was experiencing a steady growth in improving lifestyle in the 1950's has fallen back into tribalism and has genocide is now a recurring event throughout African thanks to communism..

Because of the Islamic movement in Africa, all of Bill Gates money could never put the fractured Continent back together. God cursed Ham's son Canaan, and Africa is the land of Ham.

I thought the title was a trick question.
But after I thought about it I came up with the answer.
If only two cents from every dollar provided water and the other 98 cents if every dollar goes to the Clinton Global Initiative.
Then the correct answer that not enough water goes to Barack Hussein Obama’s direct family members and others in Africa.
Now I have another question if American aid groups and missionaries and the like have been continuously teaching Africans how to develop clean water sources for 60 years and they’re still drinking water 10 feet from animals pissing in their water holes are they so stupid that they are unworthy of being helped ?
Same question for birth control efforts.
Would the population of Africa be better off if we trained chimpanzees to control their water resources?

My Grandfather homesteaded in North Dakota in 1911. His first order of business was to drill a water well. How was he able to do this over 100 years ago, and Africans can’t do it today?
