I remember “The Portland Laugher”.
My mother quit smoking 12 years before she died of lung cancer. Sometimes the damage is already done.

“Hades, hello!”
Me too.
The show was like a 1970’s 1980’s late night internet chat room.
Every crockpot in the country would call.
2020 Won
Hopefully he can recover, however with all his health scares recently it will be hard fought.

I’m with you guys. As a teen in the mid-to-late ‘80s without a TV in my room, I often listened to Larry King’s radio show. He was always a liberal, but I didn’t mind him. He was part of an earlier generation of liberals who disagreed with conservatives without constantly attacking or vilifying them. Someone once told me that Larry’s approach to interviewing was to do only minimal preparation so that he would have the same level of ignorance about his guests as his typical audience member had. That way, he’d be asking the same sorts of questions that his audience would be wondering about. I laughed when I heard that, but I suspect there was something to it. Prayers for LK’s speedy recovery.
It absolutely does matter on when you get the treatment. The virus is trying to replicate as soon as it enters your body. Many people have bodies that can kick it’s butt. Others are not so lucky.
bamlanivimab has seen some success but there is a very narrow window when it has it’s most success.
Not sure they will even given it to you to try after the window.
Right now it is free but I imagine it will be very expensive later on.
Stop it....just stop. Larry has NEVER been well and he’s 87
Does he have COVID-19 or possibly the Flu and it’s complications?
Yep, my relative stopped more than 30 years before was diagnosed with lung cancer.
I remember him saying that he would do not read a book prior to an interview. From there he would build the interview from scratch.
I learned a lot about baseball by listening to his show.
I met him once at the Winter Baseball Meeting
The problem with B-mab and Regeneron is that, given too late, they make you worse - and we don’t have a fast and easy way to determine too late.
That having been said, we are very high on them and use them a lot.
Why does it make it worse?
Does it increase the cytokine storm?
The markers you mentioned before seemed to be helpful to determine when it might be too late.
How liberal is he? (I want to know how much I care.)
I honestly thought that Larry King was a lot older than that. Or perhaps his face just prematurely aged 30-40 years ago, to look like he was in his 70’s.
They were together and knew each other?
That is why President Trump survived the virus, he was treated IMMEDIATELY the second he started having any sort of breathing issue he got the antibody treatment..remdensivir I dont see any improvement with that drug even Trump said so, he said the regeneron is what saved him not the remdensivir..problem is, if you dont mention that you want to be treated with this antibody to your doctor, they wont do it..they just shove a damn ventilator into your mouth and if you live great, if not, oh well..that is how they are doing things here and around the country
Heirs will be fighting over his prostate, which has been very profitable.
