It absolutely does matter on when you get the treatment. The virus is trying to replicate as soon as it enters your body. Many people have bodies that can kick it’s butt. Others are not so lucky.
bamlanivimab has seen some success but there is a very narrow window when it has it’s most success.
Not sure they will even given it to you to try after the window.
Right now it is free but I imagine it will be very expensive later on.
The problem with B-mab and Regeneron is that, given too late, they make you worse - and we don’t have a fast and easy way to determine too late.
That having been said, we are very high on them and use them a lot.
That is why President Trump survived the virus, he was treated IMMEDIATELY the second he started having any sort of breathing issue he got the antibody treatment..remdensivir I dont see any improvement with that drug even Trump said so, he said the regeneron is what saved him not the remdensivir..problem is, if you dont mention that you want to be treated with this antibody to your doctor, they wont do it..they just shove a damn ventilator into your mouth and if you live great, if not, oh well..that is how they are doing things here and around the country
