I got friends with small businesses.
What they are getting is a joke and one has 7 restaurants...he got 5 grand.
The rest is going to big corporations that kick back to congressman and their families and their family’s companies.

I got the money yesterday. Bought iPad Pro 2020 (12.9 inch) online and pick it up tomorrow at the store door.
I overspent a little on Christmas gifts.
Now I’m back to square one on what I wanted to spend :)
I did my part of the economy and then some.
And I made sure everything I bought was US made.
WOW did that take a lot of extra time but I was able to find US products in the price range of Chinese made products.
I guess everyone will let me know how good the quality is.
We also got out pittance. I refuse to stimulate the American economy with it. Besides biden will take it back and then some with higher taxes and fuel costs
I went on SSA this year so I know my taxes are going to be screwed up, I figure that will cover the shortfall; essentially, it is the gubmint forgiving 1200 dollars of my tax bill.

It does, and sometimes I just cannot find USA made products. But I always avoid China.
Those weren't Nancy's crumbs to give, they were ours; the classic, old give until they run out of other people's money.
On the other hand, a lot of those handouts are buying guns and ammunition for the revolution. Those handouts I consider feel good charity.
Yup, got $1800 this morning. Me, wife and daughter. Will go towards homestead projects and prepping for socialism. My son turned 18 late Dec 2019 and has never filed taxes so he’s not eligible.
Giving it back means it will be wasted. I’m trying to make some longterm productive investments in my garden and save the rest.
Our friends on ss got theirs this am.
The $600 showed up in my checking account by electronic deposit. The bank lists it as “Pending”...In Process.
Usually with a “windfall” I’ll joke about “Hookers and Champagne”. I guess this will be “A Crackwh*** and Beer”.

Well, 600 X ????? could add up to a hefty ‘bonus’ for an individual or two connected to the bank with interest etal.
I got a MASSIVE SS raise ... 27 bucks per month BUT while it is ‘nothing’ to me it sure adds up when you throw all the others etc etc etc
The way gubbiment ‘works’ (oxymoron) is like the story of the ‘crew’ pitching in to buy a boat and they figure that he who makes the most will pay the most and then a sliding down scale.
They were paying monthly and somehow the owner of the yard got a huge discount and come Christmas he decided to give each of the purchasers a present by returning 15 percent of what each had paid into.
The guys at the bottom got a little and it worked up to where the ‘top guy’ got the MOST individual ‘present’.
The others got together and said since he had the most money he should have gotten the lowest bonus so they all ganged up on him and beat him senseless.
Well, ‘Daddy Warbucks’ said “screw this”, keep what I put into it and I am bailing out (with a balance remaining)
Others were glad till the ‘readjusted’ amount each had to pay hit them the following month and 3 months later they had it all repossessed for ‘non-payment’.
There is this commercial with joe namath , he’s saying get everything you’re entitled too.
Got mine this morning, woo-hoo. Goes right into my Maine Coon kitten fund. No, I still haven’t found my new tortie and white baby. Hopefully this spring...
