Lawyers representing Louie Gohmert and a group of Arizona Republicans disclosed in a court filing Tuesday that Vice President Pence rejected their request to join their attempt to block electors.
Gohmert and 11 GOP “alternate” electors from Arizona filed suit against Pence on Monday in an attempt to argue that the vice president has sole authority to determine which presidential electors Congress will count when it certifies the results of the election. The suit essentially asks the court to grant Pence the authority on Jan. 6 to overrule the results in swing states such as Arizona and have Congress count only pro-Trump electors.
In new court filings made public Tuesday, the plaintiffs disclosed that they had reached out to Pence before filing their suit in an attempt to join forces but that their talks did not reach any kind of agreement.
“In the teleconference, Plaintiffs’ counsel made a meaningful attempt to resolve the underlying legal issues by agreement, including advising the Vice President’s counsel that Plaintiffs intended to seek immediate injunctive relief in the event the parties did not agree,” lawyers for Gohmert and the electors said in the filing. “Those discussions were not successful in reaching an agreement and this lawsuit was filed.”
The revelation was made in a filing in which Gohmert’s attorneys sought an expedited schedule for a ruling from U.S. District Judge Jeremy Kernodle of the Eastern District of Texas, a Trump appointee.

I think the problem we're facing is the fact that the politicians fear the left.. The left will beat their head, burn their house and kill their dog..
But, to them, the right are the God fearing, law abiding citizens that will, like the German Jews of world war II era, just go along to get along..
Oh, we may whine and snivel a bit, but we well eventually get on those boxcars headed for the furnaces..
We need stop asking and pleading with the crooked courts and start physically DEMANDING justice and an end to this corruption..

In the case of the House voting, by “delegates” is meant each state’s Repub and Demonrat reps. There are more States having more Republican reps than demonrats than there are States having majority of their representatives demonrats.
This assumes majority reps party of any State would vote for their party’s candidate... which is your question. Each State gets one vote- decided as to whom within their Repub and Dem reps (voting party line?- let’s hope). And, it will be the new House membership, thus bringing 36 (or 32, can’t remember) States majority Repubs in their delegation— and thus voting for Trump. 36 R votes- T to 14-Dmajority- B.
Down to the wire. Nerve wracking. It is also, depending on the State’s delegations decision- a private vote- so some dems could (possibly) cross over and no one know (except their fellow dems in a State).
Pence is our last line of defense...

Not true. Pence may or may not do the right thing and throw out those fraudulent EC votes. But even if he caves, President Trump still has more options. Nuclear options. Martial Law and/or the Insurrection Act.
Listened to a constitutional scholar go through this—and pretty sure each challenge mandates 2 hours... thus taking a long time, possibly coming to no conclusion and kicking it to the House.

Pence is not and never will be a line of defense. He is a lifelong establishment Republican who never colors outside the establishment lines. He will do nothing.
It really is a troll post. One of many. It seems a lot of Freepers are dead set against Mike Pence. And dead set against the possibility that he might actually throw out those fraudulent EC votes.

This isn’t an overturning. It is a straightforward stealing of an election that Trump seeks to correct.
If anyone overturned an election It was Team Biden. This is RESTORING an election.

We also have the problem of being infiltrated by those who wish us ill or are just misguided. Despite the warnings from PDJT, we listened to those who said he was going to win in a such a massive landslide that there was no way any fraud could overcome that. So we made no effort to find out how the election was goin to be stolen and then stop it from happening.
Then we had the false prophets telling us not to worry because God guaranteed that PDJT would win on election day. Another excuse not to be proactive and prevent the Democrats and their allies from stealing the election.
I’ve read that the Trump campaign spent millions on law firms and lawyers AFTER the election. Who made the decision not to spend that kind of money BEFORE the lection so we’d have teams of top notch lawyers well versed in election laws on scene in places like Detroit, Milwaukee, Philly, Pittsburgh and Madison to name a few, ready to investigate any irregularities, document them and bring that info to judges in real time on election day?
We have enemy within our ranks and few if any seem to care that much about it.
So he’s looking after his own interests rather than the constitution and the people who had this election stolen from them.

Who knows where the first shot will be fired? That'll probably be disputed. People are shooting at each other already, every day. It won't be like the first CW with uniforms and troops and front lines. It'll be chaotic with flashpoints in unlikely places. Lawlessness and bloody violence. Lots of collateral damage. Innocent and not-so-innocent lives taken.
The US army? The police? I don't know whose side they will be on, that'll probably vary from place to place.
And worst of all, I don't know who will win, or how you even know that it's over.
