minimizing electoral fraud induced violence in the next few months (anyone? pence? pence?)
me | 12/28/2020 | me

Posted on 12/28/2020 9:10:54 PM PST by SteveH

i keep hearing that there is a way for pence to declare many of the EC votes fraudulent.

if pence is given the exclusive responsibility to "count" the votes, then even if alternative state EC slate votes are not formally "delivered" to pence, what if anything would prevent pence from inventing a new concept such as "senate presidential notice" and applying it on the fly to the 2020 election, voiding sufficient EC slates of some corrupt swing states such that the election is thrown to congress?

a rule of thumb i have often heard in engineering is that the cost of a fix to a problem is minimized by applying the fix at the earliest possible moment in the product life cycle. It seems to me irrefutable that the official election results are fraudulent and that this is well understood by a majority of the public.

most people will go along to get along, either way.

the problem is that some people will not go along. on the left there are the antifa, fighting for anarchy and communism. on the right are constitutional conservatives, fighting for principle.

if biden takes the presidency on january 20, the result is in my mind only a deferred conflict, not an avoided conflict. constitutional conservatives will wait in the tall grass until a match sets something on fire and there are casualties.

it seems to me that that wait would not necessarily be very long. with biden and harris in charge, both are likely to be incompetent at resolving national matters with competence. it seems reasonable to anticipate that they will respond to righteous anger by repressive measures. such repressive measures once taken will lead to a downwards spiral in confidence in the national government and in the extreme, open rebellion. all of that would lead to much bloodshed if that path is taken.

pence has a one time, take it or leave it opportunity to minimize such violence. as president of the senate he counts the EC votes, determining which are valid and which are invalid. what will pence's historical legacy be? the guy who ducked as the greatest nation in world history takes a knee to china, corrupt corporations and politicians-- perhaps on a pretext of avoiding bloodshed when some bloodshed is all but inevitable?

if there is to be a conflict, let's have it early. settle matters quickly and humanely for all concerned. we have already had one civil war and we now know that such a civil war can be forecast to last for a few weeks or months, and in fact drag on for years before a military resolution. in our case, the world will probably not wait for us to settle our internal disagreements, and figure that now would be a good time to strike potentially fatal blows against the USA in a time of internal weakness. we should as a matter of national security narrow that time of internal weakness as much as we can, as quickly as we can.

i wonder if pence's upcoming scheduled vacation is timed to remove pence from the national stage for a deliberate reason-- to minimize rancor after an contentious but correct call.

pence, if he chooses, can always point to the supreme court as the villains who would not stand up and be counted when they were needed. in fact, he has to do this for self preservation or else leave himself open to attack from the judicial branch.

The way I hear it, we all get our brains melted this week, and dot-mil is all set up to deal with the left’s reaction to whatever melts our brains, and tidy up afterward.

New, empty Gitmo style prisons awaiting the “downfall of the democrat party.”

I have some ideas about the...thermal event, but loose lips sink ships.

Trump got 74 million votes. There are 133 million voters registered in the USA. If every single registered voter voted there would ONLY be 59 million votes left for Biden. How did he get 81 million votes? FRAUD.

He has court cases that will go to SCOTUS and thanks to the TX case, he's now aware how to file them properly...under article 3 not 2...so the SCOTUS will be forced to listen.

No they don't have to listen. The court can toss any case they want to.

Please don't post misinformation.

More Trump fan fiction.

The 82 airborne is not going anywhere.

The Navy is going anywhere.

And if his lawyers did not know how to file a case at the Supreme Court they should not be licensed to practice there. How to file and the concept of “standing” is First Year law student lectures.

Please do bot blow up a cell tower when you realize you have been jerked around to monetize some you tube channel.

Nope. Pence has a ceremonial role. He doesn’t decide what to count and what not to count

The phrase “ceremonial role” appears where in the constitution?

“There will be no peace regardless of the election outcome.”

Your statement I believe to be fact. With Biden there will be untethered violence from the BLM/Antifa types with some Patriot push back. The only thing Biden will do is criminalize the Patriots.

When Trump is seated for his second term, there will be BLM/Antifa violence of which may include many assassinations and explosions similar to Nashville. This is the best case scenario, as the full weight of the government can be used to suppress this violence and put the agitators in jail or to sleep.

To me the above is logical, and I’m wondering just why Roberts & McConnell seem to think a Biden win is the best one, other than hiding their own criminality.

Every future event is on their heads - and the public needs to be reminded of it as these events occur.

If you want the uh, stuff that you post in a vanity post to be taken seriously by literate people, you really need to utilize what someone tried to teach you in the first grade and capitalize your sentences.

Otherwise you brand yourself as an illiterate and self-centered person.

With all due respect, mind you.

Our modern version of bread and circuses is like nothing humanity has ever experienced in all of recorded history. We did things the Romans never dreamed possible, like making the poor the most likely to be obese. We are also the most passively entertained and the least used to strenuous physical labor outdoors.

What past civil upheaval would have ever happened with our current societal conditions?

Pence does not have any of the powers to decide which votes to count that you seem to think he does.

ok then— this thread is not addressed to you and you should feel free to go about your business of form over substance somewhere else.
