[Wall Street banksters are the little guy? LOL. That’s funny. I can see now how Romney got the GOP nom.]
US keeps trying to repeat the Marshall Plan. It worked in post-war Western Europe because those societies, though physically in ruins, were basically well-educated, and scientifically and culturally advanced. Marshall Plan does not work with illiterate goat herds.
After the blatantly stolen election, this doesn’t seem as dangerous as it would have a couple of months ago.
It’s defense contractors. They’ve got the lobbying juice in DC. I suspect they lobby not just for wars and nationbuilding but also AGAINST money for Americans here at home, because it would reduce the money they can get for their wars etc.
Agree. $600 covers hardly any bills, especially in northern states with the cold weather and need for paying for heat.
Same with giving Sri Lanka $15 million to buy a “high powered cutter boat” or $33 million for “democracy programs” in Venezuela which damn well will end up in the hands of the dictator there Maduro. It’s kick backs, it’s these corrupt pukes in Congress who make deals with foreign lobbyists who give these scumbags a cut of whatever taxpayer money they can get sent to these countries. This is OUR money they are profiting off of and in exchange they want to give us is SPIT? $600?? We absolutely need a new political party, to hell with Democrats and Republicans, the “uniparty”.
“ It does feel like the financial Rubicon has been crossed.”
It was crossed when US invaded Iraq and started the cycle of $7 trillion for endless Middle East wars and nationbuilding. “Fiscal conservatives” never objected. They revealed that “fiscal conservatism” is a fraud that only opposes spending money to help Americans in American; blowing trillions on foreign adventures is fine with them
Anyone know when the Senate votes on this? Tomorrow?

If they are going to handout our money to left wing institutions and foreign countries. Everyday Americans, many of whom were put out of work unnecessarily should receive a lot more than 600.00.It’s past time the federal govt was cut down to almost nothing.
I can see how you might have voted for Obama.
We have GOP Senators who didn’t vote for Trump. They were just fine with Hillary and her radical SCOTUS. Our elected Repoublicans prefered Hillary Clinton to POTUS and his 15 million GOP primary voters. Let that sink in.
I voted Trump. And Romney, McCain, Bush, Little Marco 3 times, etc. Trump voters are not the problem here. The coup enabling and election stealing GOP made it’s own bed. Now they get to lay in it.

“Don’t get me wrong, I am a hypocrite. I won’t send my money back.”
I still have it and kept it as it has PDJT’s signature on it. In the future after the Civil War, the next generation will show their grand kids “this was the last check of the last great American President as he battled the Deep state bastards”.

Good on you max.
You’ve lost the plot my friend. Wall Street hates Trump with a white hot passion. Ask yourself why that is.
75,000 a year is hardly rich these days AND their tax bracket is pretty damn high so not giving a check to them is ridiculous they deserve it more than those who pay NO TAXES!!!
So you think $75,000 a year is rich REALLY!! What rock are you living under???
When does Caesar and his legions cross the Rubicon?
